    What do you think of shooting rolling shots on your own? Think you'll try it or just go with the classic hang out the window shooting?

    • @KDD8

      What kind of lens are you using for your rolling shot?

    • @BySerg

      After seeing this I’m really tempted to try and do it by myself 🤘🏻. I always end up going to car shows or cars and coffee events and wish I could get rollers when everyone is leaving the event . But I’m usually the one driving, this will definitely help . Thank you !

    This is a great method, the other thing I do is attach one end of a camera strap to the camera and then close the other end of the strap in the car door that way if the mount fails for some reason you should still be able to save the camera.

    is DSLR Canon EOS 4000D a good camera for this type of photography?

    • @TheCarCreative
      @TheCarCreative  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The camera you have is always the best camera. Could it be better, and maybe have better focus features or something, sure. Just do the best with what you got =)

    50mm pretty good to do cars? Wanting the new 1.4 song GM for my first lens and be versatile with it! I know maybe a wider lens maybe better ! But wanna see anyone’s opinions on using it in car shoots ? Rolling shots to be more exact

    I need to try this but I'm so scared the camera will fall. I also have a wireless remote which could be perfect if I want to mount the camera event lower!

      Ya you definitely gotta double check those suction cups before going but I’ve never had a camera fall yet! And yes lots of camera have mobile capture also which is a sweet feature!

  • @martinwise784
    @martinwise784 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    For safety’s sake please get a remote trigger so you can fire from in the car so both your hands are at least near the steering wheel. You can even get a WiFi trigger and see the shot and trigger it from your smartphone.

    • @TheCarCreative
      @TheCarCreative  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great idea. I've definitely tried the remote trigger and it's pretty laggy and sometimes doesn't even connect. That said it would definitely be ideal and best case scenario.

    Convenience tip (at least When You’re Using a Sony camera): Download the Imagine Edge Mobile App, pur your phone in your Car Mount and you can Connect the phone To the Camera and Even Control ist properly! Its Even safer for you and much more convenient to use!

      @TheCarCreative  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! Thanks for this! Great idea! I’ve tried with the app also and it was inconsistent but is such a good idea. Especially if you have a mount for the phone! 👊🏼 I appreciate you watching bro!

      The Car Creative by the way, you’re the one and only best chanel when it comes to car photography content! It’s a small niche in photography and Because of that I’m even happier to have you explaining loads of things about it! I consider myself as a good amateur (eventhough having an A7iii 🙈) but always open to learn more! There is such a huge difference when it comes to being an amateur compared to an experienced pro, especially with exposing correctly and editing in post. So thanks for helping us creative car guys out😃😍😂🤩

    • @TheCarCreative
      @TheCarCreative  ปีที่แล้ว

      Get audio from a different clip, or add sounds in post. I sometimes will film the car at a stand still doing different variations in revs and then I’ll add it in post.

      Of course! Might be harder to get the motion blur but you can still do it.

    Pinch a camera strap in the door so you don't lose it. Also a general rule of thumb is to match your shutter speed with vehicle speed. Going 20 mph, go 1/20. Going 60? 1/60

    Great video as usual. But that second song distracted me, I'm a producer and I made a song that sounds the same I made the idea in 2015 I guess I'm surprised to see it here but a bit different than mine.
    Search for Hussein & Qyce - Trippin its available on all platforms
    Note: This is not a spam Im not trying to promote a song
