Another car Heatherized. You are right, Gyeon products are a bit pricey. But they really do a good job. I see Gyeon changed their bottling. No more clear bottles. It is fun watching someone else detailing and getting tired besides me! Relaxing video. Great detail Heather.
Cheers Kim! Yeah I’ve been really enjoying using the Gyeon stuff recently, not the cheapest but they’re good products and the branding is really nice as well, looks good on the shelf haha
Haha! Righto Heather, mum's the word! Have a good week ahead.......have to admit, what a difference the mtm hose reel and kranzle set up & sgs stubby gun is.....wow!
Hi Heather!! I very recently came across your channel and I absolutely love your attention to detail even to the smallest things, like in one of your videos you were about to coat a car with ceramic coating and since you were outside and not in the ideal environment, you explained the steps and precautions you took like hosing the ground around where you work so it doesn't kick up any light dirt while you were polishing and coating the car. Just a suggestion/request/wish, in your future videos, could you please show how you clean the door jams without getting the interior wet and dirty? Also, I am not too sure if you do interior detailing as much as you do exterior detailing as I've only come across one video so far which showcases both however could you also show more interior detailing please? Thank you!!!
Thanks very much I appreciate that! Yep I'll try and get some clips of some door shuts in some future videos, I tend not to film it every time as it can take a while moving the camera about and sometimes they're not too dirty so it's not as interesting haha. I've got an interior video coming up next week actually!
To clean the exhaust, use a rust remover, for example from Koch Chemie RRR in combination with 3M Scotch Brite. For chrome polish, I use Autosol Metal Polish. It's the quickest for me.😎🫡
Always luv watching your videos so that I can try and pick up new tips/ideas. Noticed you not use the wheel mats this time to put the car on - was this due to hard surface drive?
Afternoon Heather 👋 just catching up here, another quality detailing video & showcasing products. Gyeons wet coat is a great product 👌. May I ask as to what and where your wall moutnted nozzle is from please. Just need something like this to finish off last weekends Kranzles TS 10 home garage instal 🙂
Cheers Graham :) I can't actually remember the name of the company as I got it a few years ago. The plastic is quite brittle so I had issues with another accessory that came in the set breaking unfortunately. If you're willing to hang on a little while longer I may have something coming that could be just up your street (can't say too much yet though haha!)
The bug and grime is indeed a great product, but personally I wasn't really impressed on wheels and tyres. Maybe mine were too dirty. And as you mentioned it yourself, it would be really pricey to pre wash the car with it. Not sure how are prices in the UK for Gyeon, but in my country gyeon, meguiars and chemical guys especially are SUPER expensive. Therefore I am moving one by one my products to Koch Chemie. Recently I found a local supplier for Shiny garage and based on your videos I'll give these a go as well. Seem reasonably priced.
Bug and grime is only designed to be used on the front of the car and side mirrors. Spray on the bugs and flies and wait for the insects to dissolve, then go in and wash with a mitt. It makes sure you don’t scratch the car.
Haha it might take me a while to get there! Thank you for watching :) The stubby gun is an MTM SGS35, there's a review of it on the channel if you have a search you should hopefully find it
Hi Heather. Relatively new to discovering your channel, but find the information and techniques extremely helpful and insightful. Subscribed! Out of curiosity and as an up and coming detalier myself, what would you charge for this service and how long did the job take? Thank you
Thanks Matthew! If you head over to my website autocarehq.com there's a full price list on there. Also if you're starting up and looking for some help getting a website just give me a shout as I work as a freelance web designer when I'm not doing this!
Heather (@AutoCareHQ), i purchased this same exact car with red caliper brakes just a month ago. Love how you took care of it. What equipment would you recommend for a beginner kit? Brushes, mitt, sponges? Nothing too pricey. Just trying to slowly lean into cleaning myself.
I agree with Bug n Grime and Restart. But I find TireExpress really sticky when applied dry and when applied on wet tire, then really drippy so I tend to prefer DarkSide or T2 Tire Dressing. How do you rate WetCoat endurance vs HydrO2 or something similar?
I need to try Darkside, looks like a good one. I haven’t tried HydrO2 to compare unfortunately but I usually get between 4-8 weeks out of Wet Coat depending on weather, driving frequency etc
Hi Heather, can you advise what make of wall mounted hose reel is shown on the video? Did it come with a hose, or is that your own hose? Any problems with rewinding the hose back in due to twists/kinks? Thanks
Hey, it's an MTM hose reel, I've got a vid on it here: th-cam.com/video/y8olbS9uaSU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ISzpzZzR1MGQF8z6 I've not had any issues winding it back up either, it's just using the kranzle stock hose
Good job on a very nice car Heather, Only thing that would put me off getting one,is one day you’re going to see a RS5,and your going to feel bad that you couldn’t afford a RS5 😢 You said you mixed the wheel at 50:1 ratio does that meant for 1 litre you add 20mm of product ?
Great video. I applied a ceramic coating after washing my car and my wipers went through a period of sticking and wobbling? Is that because of the coating over the window applying friction? It was very irritating 🤣
Nice clean! What is your experience with this dressing? When I use Tire Express in warm weather, I have to wipe it afterwards twice with time in between, or otherwise it will sling. Think I prefer gummy from Stjarnagloss
Thanks! Yeah the rag company mitt and carbon collective clay block are my favourites. Good for cars which have been clayed in the last couple of years but for anything more contaminated I find a clay bar more effective
I noticed your grit guard was on an angle in the bucket. I’m guessing this is intentional to better scrub the mitt ? I’ve never tried this ( in fact I usually use several mitts) but it seems like a good idea.
Hey, Auto Care HQ! Why do still use the "Two Bucket" method? Don't you think "One Bucket(multiple wash mitts/microfiber towels) method is a lot better?
Thanks for watching. I like both methods to be honest but my mitts are pretty expensive so I usually go two-bucket. I use a few mitts per car so I guess it’s kind of a hybrid and my rinse bucket never has any dirt in it at the end
If you head over to the website and drop me an email that's the best way to get in touch but unfortunately at the moment I'm quite busy so struggling to take on anything else I'm afraid
I use the GYEON WET COAT as a spray on the alloys…..but I spray my small wash mit and apply it in a quick crosshatch….a panel at a time…..assures me the panel is fully coated…..once a month in the winter…….probably only twice through the summer…..
I seriously dunno why you don't have more subscribers on here, your videos are some of the best narrated and are very well edited. Keep it up!

What angle of pressure washer nozzle do you use?
Good job on a very nice car Heather,
Only thing that would put me off getting one,is one day you’re going to see a RS5,and your going to feel bad that you couldn’t afford a RS5 😢
You said you mixed the wheel at 50:1 ratio does that meant for 1 litre you add 20mm of product ?

Great video. I applied a ceramic coating after washing my car and my wipers went through a period of sticking and wobbling? Is that because of the coating over the window applying friction? It was very irritating 🤣

Hi Heather, do you use/recommend clay towels/mitts at all? Great video!
Thanks! Yeah the rag company mitt and carbon collective clay block are my favourites. Good for cars which have been clayed in the last couple of years but for anything more contaminated I find a clay bar more effective
