I recognize that our sources are poor, esp when it comes to the Central Asia campaigns. However, I struggle to agree with the chronology and some of the narrative of this episode. Would you be able to advise what material did you use here?
I'm enjoying this podcast but there are many improvements needed. As another commentor has mentioned, the timelines are incorrect and information missing. For example the alternate theory of Darius III being killed at a mill by a peasant is not touched on at all. A most glaring issue is the pronunciations, not of foreign names and places but standard English word such as ravine, cavalry, instances....
