This is a tribute to the 2k3 turtles arch nemesis, Ch'rell aka the Utrom Shredder.

Best shredder in my opinion
This song suits the 2003 shredder the best.
That is EXACTLY what I just said. And making the Shredder into an utrom was not a mistake. It was a great plot twist.
The Utrom Shredder was a hell of a lot more ruthless than any other Shredder. Especially that bubling pushover Shredder and that burping birdbrain Krang from the Fred Wolf cartoon. Now they was some rancid, pooly thought out and juvenille writing. Also Raphael is suposed to have a lone wolf attitude, he's not suposed to be a wise guy.
@telewatcher89 well at the very least in the 1987 series Shredder was a distinct character, with his own evil plans and attitude different from Krang, and actually Krang can just be as dangerous as evil as Ch'rell, let's not forget he conquered the whole Dimension X for himself, enslaving and killing millions of innocent people in the process. Also in the movie "Turtles forever", Krang and Shredder initially are able to subdue and defeat Ch'rell when they teleport him in the Technodrome, even if Ch'rell didn't have his exosuit there, it's still a huge feat and show of power and intelligence for characters like them who are from the 1987 series. Also Krang imprisoned him and wanted to torture him but then Ch'rell was rescued by others in the last moment

Actually, in Season 5, there was a human Oroku Saki 1000 years ago who was possessed by a demon and became the Tengu Shredder. That was the original Shredder
Ch'rell might not have the powerful magic power of the Tengu Shredder or the techogoly of the Cyber Shredder, but he is totally the most evil and badass of all the Shredders. I mean he made the Foot and had a hand in most of the major storyline in the show, even in Fast Forward (where he made a apperance) and in Back to the Sewers (it was a digital copy of him that became the Cyber Shredder).

Technically,the Cyber Shredder was the Utrom Shredder or atleast the remnants of his consciousness in digitized form.

actualy no they find out later in the seiries that there actualy was a human but he was from like 100000 years ago but the turtles still fight him. i personaly think turnning shredder into an utrom was a huge mistake.
@allwalledup Actually,it was not a mistake!It was a deliberate creative choice to justify The Character`s multiple network-mandated resurrections!They even brought Peter Laird,the artist of the original Comic,onboard to design Ch`rell alongside Series Animation Producer Lloyd Goldfine.

Not a big fan of them making Shredder an Utrom, he kinda loses all intimidation when he latches onto a turtles face in a very cartoony manner
Ch`rell latched onto Raphael`s head in order to demonstrate that despite his true form`s small size,he was still superior to The Turtles.Was I the only one who got that?

The Ninja Trubinal capture and sealed the Human Shredder in a coffin. The Utrom Shredder later crash on Earth along with the other utroms, stole one of their exo-suit and imitate the Human Shredder but without super powers and more with martial arts.

I never said you said anything about dark and edgy. That was my opinion. How long do you plan to keep saying "blinded by nostalgia" because I'm not, for the last damn time. I don't think you even get what I'm trying to point out. And cursing, real mature. Doesn't make your point any more valid than mine.
You replied to me with some nonsense comment about proving making something dark and edgy doesn't mean it's better. And like I said, you didn't prove anything or make your point anymore vailid. What is your point exactly? That you like the old Shredder better because he was human no matter how poorly he was portrayed? If you like goofy one dimensional villians, good for you. @thebuckrogers22 The 2003 series was stupid, in my opinion. I certainly did not accept the Utrom Shredder. In fact, I watched one ep and never watched it again. I have all Volumes in the 1984 original series and the Shredder from that was THE ONE AND ONLY SHREDDER. -:( I love the 84 series and will never let it go... -3 Go you 84 rockers
I have to agree. Seriously, an Utrom criminal is the big bad and he's also the beloved Shredder icon from so many years ago? What rancid and poorly thought out writing. It didn't help that Raphael was so irritating whenever he had to say anything, and of course his outdated "bad boy" attitude is what makes the fangirls write out all their horrid shippings. -_-
@Flegan777 How is it poorly thought-out writing?Because it`s a twist on the source material in which Saki died in the first fucking issue in a super anti-climactic way?(So anti-climactic,in fact,that "Turtles Forever" parodied it in the Mirage Comics world.)Also,of all the Shredder incarnations in any Turtles medium Ch`rell came closest to succeeding and actually did succeed in an alternate future until our world`s Donatello intervened and finally destroyed Ch`rell for good(Or at least that alternate future version of Ch`rell) .
