This is the greatest tribute to Michelangelo ever! He's not just some goofball, he has proven himself to be strong, kind hearted, and courageous turtle that i have ever admired!

Mikey's serious side is what makes his character, but like any good slacker he holds back until he has to act. It's probably one of the reasons I love him so much. It took me a while to find a good song for Mikey that embraces him completely as a character too - so thanks for the compliment there.
Faved? You honour me! As soon as I get another good 'Mikey' song I'll do a follow up, since I found other snippets of footage that needs to be used.

Donatello has always caught my attention in both series, until I started to watch this 2003 series, that I start to love Mchelangelo too. He's not only the "party dude" or the Cowabunga guy. He's also a kind, loving and caring brother/friend. He can be serious when is necessary without shedding his pure and childish personality. Leo is the leader, Raph is always ready to fight, but Mikey is the soul of the group. Great tribute to him in this video!!
I grew up with the Ninja Turtles my whole life and I think this has some of the best insights the turtles give.
Thanks for the compliment! Yea Mike often gets sold short by both the wriers and the fans, so I figured it was time to celbrate his maturity, commitment and overall greatness.

I love the 2003 cartoon most of all because of how the characters are portrayed. As Zephyrnix pointed out, we can see better than in any other version how much more there is to Mikey's personality than just his sense of humor. We have a good glimpse of his more serious side, his amazing natural skills, his surprising insight into other peoples' emotions, etc. Because the kid IS very smart and important to the team, and I'm glad he has a chance to show it.

Wow! great video! I love all the turtles, but since I was 2 years old, mikey has held a special place... and not because he's a goofball (though I love him for that too!) EEP! I thought no one else loved his serious side... LOVE IT! AWESOME VIDEO! Perfect song choice, some of Mikey's greatest moments... LOVE IT!! 5/5 and faved!
-nods- It sure does, I heard it being used on a Buffy video for Xander years back now. And it just clicked automatically as the perfect song to celebrate Michelangelo.
I like that Mike is not just represented as the goofy one in your video, since he is way more than that.
I must say clearly this is one of my favorite music video since 2014 that I listen I've been tmnt fan ever since with all the love and Awesomeness you made great but Awesome job making this music video and Mikey is forever my favorite tmnt character 🤗😍💚😘

Yes! One of my goals is to do a Mike/Leo brotherly video. However I have yet to find a suitable song. I really do enjoy the relationship that these two share, simply because each brings out the more hidden facets of the others personality.

Grudge Match and Big Brawl is where he takes on Kluh. Grudge Match is season four, and Big Brawl is the season two finale.
Only second favourite! Dare I ask who has the number one spot? But Mikey's latent intelligence is just what makes him all the hotter IMO.

Really awesome, and it is true, Michelangelo can be as strong as his brothers...when he's focused enough. ^w^
His brothers hurt him. Push him. Insult him. Call him hurtful names. Yet he loves them still and is willing to protect them with his life no matter how many times they hurt him. He's so unappreciated even by his father.
ha! I just realized that Mikey's had TWO statues built in his honor! One for battle nexus and the other for helping the Super Turtles!

-jaw drops- The new stuff is meant to be like the comics. Or so I heard. Don't get me wrong I was raised on the 1980's cartoon but I can certainly appreciate the newer stuff too. And you're right, in this series, Mikey is the best. (Leo wins out for the old 'toon)

Also rewatching this today I thought of something. This is a video about Mikey, right? While his speech about Leo in the beginning is moving it would be more fitting to be at the beginning of a Leo video. I think this one should start with the other three teasing Mikey about something. Either from the beginning of Grudge Match, The Unconvincing Turtle Titan or one of the multitude of times when Mikey is freaking out about something that to an average person should be a scary as he's making it out to be with Notes From the Underground (all of them) , The Darkness Within and I, Monster all coming to mind straight away.

Said it before, and will say it again! Ya gotta give love to ya underdogs, especially when there aren't enough vids out there cataloging their more serious//fun//sensitive sides. I'll let you figure out how those break down to the guys!

I wish I could be more like Mikey. Anxiety and depression take their toll on my energy and I guess I don't have much of it left. I am taking baby steps however. I'm going to be posting an introduction video in the next few days and see how that goes. I was joking with a friend that I'm too nervous to do Karaoke in front of people I know but am going to post a video on TH-cam for the entire world. I guess in this way my face doesn't get embarrassed.
