    My husband quit smoking and took supplements it did NOTHING! He stayed at 1-3 million total motile But then when he started exercising, lifted weights, doing cardio he went up to 50 million total motile!

    Hi, and thank you for the informative videos. Is there any research regarding long-term effects of vaccination on fertility? After the mass vaccination we see increased mortality rates among young people and the number of miscarriages is increasing as well. It doesn't necessarily mean that the vaccination is the cause of those, but it might be. Please, because you're recommending vaccination, provide long-term studies proving no harmful effects on fertility. Thank you:)

    2:36 living in south Louisiana outside New Orleans, having my wife’s friends cascade anecdotal evidence that basically nothing will decrease her chances of getting pregnant; frustrates me to no end. Alcohol being my number one trigger. Do you have any suggestions on approaching the topic in social situations?

    My partner and I have been trying for 5+ years and she is now approaching 37. I have low morphology and have tried this diet. All our friends have children or are pregnant. She is getting increasingly upset and I have felt suicidal at times. It is something that isn't talked about enough, I just feel a total failure. We get married in a few weeks.

    My husband and I been ttc for 2 years now. When we started trying we got pregnant after 6 months of trying. At 9 weeks we at our first ultrasound we found out that the baby had no heart beat and had to get D&C the next day ever since the surgery I haven’t been able to get pregnant again. We have tried everything all kind of vitamins eating healthy which we do any way and what not and still nothing. We can’t afford to go to doctors and spend 20+K on IVF. I did the modern fertility test and everything came back normal. My husband keeps telling that it’s me and not him just because we been able to get pregnant twice the last 13 years we been together but that doesn’t mean that it is me and it angers me that he keeps telling ne that it’s my fault.

    • @angelalott2383
      @angelalott2383 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No kidding!! Getting pregnant is a 50/50 thing. Being pregnant the next 40 weeks is very unevenly the females job. The least your husband could do is get his fertility checked, especially since you've already had yours checked and it came back normal. That to me says that's its definitely him! In that case you could look into sperm donation.

    Great video! My 35 year old husband will be using his sperm and although the analysis revealed that the quantity (150 million) and motility (80%, with progression scored a 3) were both normal his morphology was only 3% which I was initially concerned about. I found out after the fact that our reproductive endocrinologist signed off on the results the same day my husband gave his specimen! He said that because we are doing IVF since we’re a same-sex couple he’s not concerned at all and will be using ICSI. Add in the fact that we’re using donor eggs, a surrogate and PGT is included in our program he doesn’t anticipate a lowered chance of live birth on first FET try at around 65%!

    Do you have any advice for someone with delayed ejaculation? My partner and I are in the early days of trying to conceive, but it is almost impossible for him to climax during penetrative sex, which is obviously not ideal when trying for a baby. This has been a long term issue, not as a result of TTC.

    To reduce weight i have started to walk+jog for an hour daily atleast. Thats makes about 6 km. I reckon relying on walking steps in city office type job doesnt get close to consider as an active lifestyle. I have felt better mentally, getting deep quality sleep and waking up with morning wood.
    Also added 3 times a week weight training.
    My sperm test was borderline ok-ish for a mid 30 guy. Never smoked/alcohol.
    My bmi is in obese category. I have incorporated beetroot juice, chicken, meat, eggs with yolk and some organic butter, salad, walnuts, seasame seeds, almonds. Green tea, 1/2 cup black coffee in evening before workout. Fenugreek seeds water. And vitamin D + multivitamin.

    On a sperm test where quantity, morphology, ph level are great, but just the motility is low (at least 32% progressive sperm is the normal, he has 3%), is there any chance of natural conceiving? The surgeon that will fix his varicocele said that this is a big factor for sperm motility, but the 3% doesn't mean he can't not conceive. Is this true?

    ^ Can you do a vid on exercise and missed period. I know you have one on TTC & exercise. I took 4 months off from doing zero exercise, eat healthy and not low cal, not stressed, not on any medications, and am at a healthy weight. But, recently i started 12-3-30 and my pd this month was a week late. Which is odd cause i've always been regular unless it's a stressful month. In the past i've been a strength training girl with lighter weights and not much on heavy cardio like the treadmill is walking so fast at an incline( NOT fun at all lol and a bit of struggle). I was on a roll so i don't want to stop but figure maybe i should switch to pilates until i get my period. I took 3 days off the treadmill and my period started 🎉but it makes me worry cause idk if my body is gonna freak out if I start walking again. It’s not like I’m walking extremely fast and at a huge incline either

    So, my husband has never smoked anything in his life, and he is very healthy overall. The only thing on the list that he was doing was drinking occasionally, but he has stopped that all together. My question is if finasteride can impact sperm. I looked at a few studies And I didn’t see any evidence but when I Google it a lot of people say that they have improved sperm after they stop taking it. He stopped taking it regardless, but I’m just wondering if you had more information on this

    What is your opinion on aspartame (artificial sweetener)? I was wondering if that is super bad for pregnancy? Interesting I always wondered if it was me. Only reason I say this is because me and an ex were together 4 years and we basically never used protection and she never got pregnant, now I’m 34 and my current girlfriend is 41 and we started having sex when she was 39 and we used condoms at first but still I would say 8 times out of 10 we used no protection and she hasn’t gotten pregnant either. I’ve been a smoker for about 14 years but I only smoke around 10 - 14 cigs a day. Also I stopped working out about 7 years ago and I’m a little chubby. So is it me? Or is it the fact that my girlfriend is 41? Or a combination of both? 🤔
