I knew absolutely nothing about Taeyeon a week ago when my wife and I found the Begin Again series on TH-cam and started bingeing it. When we got to Begin Again 3 (Berlin) and I heard Taeyeon for the very first time, I was immediately captivated by her and all I wanted to do was see more of her performances. When I watched her rendition of Adele's "When We Were Young" and it brought tears to my eyes, I knew she was incredibly special because Adele has never done that for me -- and the tears come every single time I watch it. In addition to her truly flawless live performance, I think it's the emotional reaction of the audience that keeps drawing the tears.

Ya know, she saw the dark side of „that“ industry and it affects her. She was gifted with something very beautiful and it wasn’t always easy to acknowledge that considering the circumstances. But this right here, performing in front of strangers, people who do not know her for her fame, and being able to form a genuine connection to these strangers through music…. I think she is truly happy in these moments right here, using her gift to make da crappy crappy world a lil bit better.

I've watched Begin Again 3 Taeyeon's episodes on youtube years ago but I never bumped onto this performance, I can't believe my ears, how could she's singing this so well that I got goosebumps from head to toe for this rendition more than adele song she has sung before.
