I've always considered Whitney Houston to be the "gold standard" as far as female vocalists go, and it's pretty gutsy for any females singers to do any of her iconic hit songs, but Wendy truly does this cover justice, as she is not just a great K-Pop vocalist, she is a world class singer up there among the very best on the planet! ❤
I hate how people place Wendy solely in the K-Pop genre as a vocalist when she's so much more talented than a lot of artists today. Most of her songs' lyrics are Korean, but that doesn't mean she's not as good as popular artists outside of the K-Pop industry. If anything, she's far beyond most's level vocally.
