Now I’m older in my 50s with a taller broader physique than most my age ,I go about my daily business, wait at the station for a train, walk to the store (whatever)and the paranoia vibe I see and feel from the public around me just by my presence is just palpable.
    Yesterday two incidents ,
1: A little un ran around a corner smacked into my shins got knocked over and the mother went mental like I’m the problem!
2: Stood at least 6 ft between a physical wobbly loud foul mouth lewd.druggie and a young teen girl receiving those “advances”,on the tram (as the right thing to do) and the police targeted me ?
Just goes to show the point you made about the selective doctrines of feelings enforcement ,reactions with zero responsibility or accountability and suspicions.
At a hospital today, pushed aside by a rude condescending individual who then after a short walk fell down the steps. Just walked ,enough is enough with these entitled scummy people.

It's quite menacing and harassing to stalk up to a person with your group of three and demand he answer your questions and, even more audaciously, demand he leave a public area or stop doing perfectly lawful things in that area.
It's not at all surprising that bullies like that feel they are the ones being harassed. Like the people who cut you off in traffic then act offended when you sound the horn at them. Massive sense of unchecked entitlement.

Software Developer here. So many things wrong with this interaction:
      1. If they have made it possible for a member of the public to film source code on a monitor through one of their windows, than that's on them. They have a duty to protect their intellectual property. If you can film it from a public place, then they have failed to take appropriate action to protect their intellectual property.
      2. The Karen claimed that it is the same as standing outside her house filming into her windows. Actually, it's not the same, e.g., her house is residential property, filming into her windows could come under voyeurism laws. However, the office building comes under commercial property laws.
      3. The Karen claimed it was a form of harassment to stand outside the office filming. Actually, it's not. Harassment (section 5 of the public order act) is presupposed on threatening or abusive behaviour. The fact the ACPO and NPCC have issued guidelines to every force in the land advising that it is lawful to film anything and anyone that can be seen from a public place negates this claim.
      4. They threatened to call the Police. I ask what crime would they report? A man with a camera exercising the right to engage in lawful activity in a public place. It is a criminal offence to make a false report to the Police, I believe it carries up to 6 months in prison.
      5. The company had an opportunity to get some great free publicity. Instead, they acted like tyrannical bullies who believe they have a right to go out into a public place and give unlawful orders to members of the public, along with threats of calling the Police for refusing to comply with those unlawful orders.
I'm a gamer, but i'll never buy any of their games for this reason.

I used to be an obsessed photographer, i had a darkroom and 3 enlargers and several different format cameras, it was an amazing hobby, and I never had any issues in public, in fact most of my shots were in public, taking images of people in a candid manner, I also dabbled in night photography, I managed to come 2nd in the amateur photographer of the year in 1995, then I got a computer and my hobby switched to computing, one decade later I jumped on youtube with a phone camera N80! but eventually got enough money from youtube revenue from a anti TV license video and got a canon 600D in about 2012, so in the last 5 years, or there abouts photography seems to have turned 180 on the user, as correctly pointed out, we used to jump in to have a photo taken, and way back when photography was first introduced, many people would stand around looking at the photographer wondering what the hell he was doing, all as an interest and not taken as hostile.
More people have cameras these days (than eer before) on phones and such, so what the hell happened that seems like over night the attitude in photography?
Perhaps as cameras are used to catch people out these days, CCTV, and on the roads especially! perhaps an attitude of hate has been manifested and as such people sub consciously react to cameras in a hostile way due to the conditioning of one of the main ways photography is used these days, to catch people out!

What a load of Codswallop, the feeling of self importance is incredible. And for a woman with 15 years of Customer Facing experience to act like a spoilt child is shameful. Keep up the great work FP, as you say those kind of people are becoming more and more prevalent in our sad society.

    Well made!
The sad thing about claiming harassment, typically by a female instigator trying to lure out some protection for her maybe later paying, is the Police loves such cases. Easy prey, no danger, get to strut egos and so on.
These people cannot think rationally, and it doesn’t seem to embarrass them the slightest to lie about some way the feel, on a totally useless measure.
    Keep up your good work!

Yes, she clearly doesn’t understand what harassment actually is. It’s just her go-to. Ironically, the ‘harassers’ are those approaching FP, imposing their false sense of authority onto his rights. He didn’t solicit their attention or stop them from leaving - quite the opposite in fact.

I know a guy who works for a company that develops games. The shit they do, non disclosure agreements, spying on each other etc. one story was a group of employees went out to the pub for lunch and a guy was recording their conversation to try gain info about the game they were working on. Saying all that though, if a person can gain info while taking photos from a public footpath they have only themselves to blame

It must be a real poor quality building if a guy outside with a camera can see everything that goes on inside it!
These people really are dim if they think you can see what's on their computer by standing over the road with a camera.
