This series will cover specific techniques such as subdomain discovery, googledorking, API enumeration tools such as Amass, lazyrecon and finally talk about how to deal with this data, remove the noise and figure out what is actually important. Instead of running automated tools we instead look at a different methodology, what you want to learn, how you're going to learn it, and finally how to get that info from the data you get. Instead of hoping to trip over a bug, this series will show you how to make all that recon data actionable

Mind mapping helps me a lot with recon, although I'm very much a noob.
And, regarding Tomnomnom, I bet that if we're able to learn and understand all of his tools, we'll probably go a long way. The guy is a beast!
I'll definitely make a note to cover mindmapping, I don't personally use it for recon but I know it's a favourite for a lot of people! Tom's tools are incredible and I am insanely envious of his brain, especially bash, like holy !!!

I know it's hard, you just gotta keep trying, check out my video from BugCrowd's Level Up conference for motivation, keep learning a little bit every day, set times each week to focus on s target. With hardwork and a little bit of luck you'll get there!
