Hello, in m3 rend and weaken are reduced by 75 percent. However pentrating rapid shot perk says 35 percent armor pen for all shots. Is this a rend or is it something else? Because if it not reduced by the 75 percent rule and is more akin to true damage that would mean a lot for bow players.

Yeah think of it like a personal rend for 35%.

@@GageGrizzly so would that means that headshot plus rend off bow plus pen shot would be 45 percent personal rend so only 13 basically? Meaning you should slot it on your armor but not your bow because raw damage would be better for bosses in m3? Bow gives 10 percent rend 5 secs on headshot, pen rapid shot gives 35 if on bow 21 off bow.

@@lesdoleague I actually don’t know if it works just like an actual rend, rather I was just using that in comparison. I have mine on my bow and I think that’s the best way to run it, but I could also be wrong. It’s worth testing it though!

@@GageGrizzly It is hard for me to test because I need to be able to enter an m3 to with the exact same bow basically. But what I did see was some website saying that it was the meta perk. However since I do not know if it was updated since the changes it is impossible for me to feel confident.

@@lesdoleague I would recommend it for sure as I run it. For example it makes taking down weak points in glacial tarn instant with rapid shot or the conduits on last boss in savage divide.

You won’t be able to unless it’s named from somewhere and you could do that from the gypsum kiln. Up to you if you really want to put the time in effort in, but if it’s 695 and good perks that’s perfect. The amount of time it would take you to get 700 and exactly what you want is absurd and they would most likely have changed the meta by then. It’s such a small difference it’s not worth it in my opinion.
