Glad I could help! I slotted opals for this dungeon particularly because I found the trash mobs to not be the main reason we would wipe. The opals just give all around protection on both bosses. I definitely felt it on Forge M3 though, the mobs there hit like a truck

So do you like the flail as a tank weapon? I was thinking of making a tank build cuz in my server it’s relatively easy to get dps and usually healers, but a lot of us just get together and do m1 with no tank. Just wondered if the flail would be dope with a shield cuz the flail is not a dps weapon I realized lol
Thank you! As for difficulty, I haven’t done all of the dungeons but it seems to vary. Overall I think the mobs do about 10-20% more damage than old M10. M3 savage last week and M3 tempest this week feel about similar to M10, but M3 forge last week felt way harder than it ever did on M10.

Flail skill tree is at the end of the video, and personally I think SNS is better for tanking, the flail has some okay buffs/debuffs but a lot of the time it just doesn't have enough damage to hold aggro. I find a lot of the time that if I'm not constantly attacking a mob, especially a boss they can turn around and attack dps/healer which is obviously no good
Yeah, I realize after the fact that I forgot both of those. The hammer is 700 GS, 38 str, thwarting strikes/sundering clear out/keenly jagged (farming tempest this week for the Willpower hammer though), hatchet tree is all right side except for accumulated power on the left, skipping out on adrenaline rush
I think flail is okay for tanking, it's definitely made to be more of a support weapon though. It has more buffs/debuffs than sns but it does a lot less damage and has less tanking options. You basically need either hated or despised(maybe both) to keep aggro. overall I think sns is slightly better still, but flail isn't a completely arbitrary option if you prefer it
I notice you’re not running the higher percent elemental damage reduction gems in your armor. Do you think those aren’t needed? Obviously, it’s more expensive because you will need to swap them every mutation change.
Pretty much all the gear came from just running dungeons, normal dungeons can drop up to 675 (I think?) gear score, once you have enough gear score you can start doing mutation level 1 and 2 and drop high gear score items. Checking the auction can also be a great way, I got my 700 gs hammer for only 5k or so
@@elifuenmayor8359 do you mean mutation 1, 2, and 3 or different dungeons? If you're talking about m1, m2, m3, they can all drop up to 700 gear score but m3 just has more high gear score drops so it's more likely. as for different dungeons the gear is not the same but the perks are all randomized
@@elifuenmayor8359 Pretty much, running regular savage is a decent place to start as I think it drops the highest gear score items then you can get into mutations once you have a full set of 650+ gear. The perks don't matter too much imo
ideally I would run both hated and despised, I just didn't drop any pieces with it. I'm currently farming for a sporelight earring which has nimble/despised/3rd perk but yeah it can be rough especially w/ flail
u dont need hated on shield or weapons lmao. u lose aggro because ur teammates or pugs run perks such as regen health that creates aggro for example or simply stay ahead of u
Probably, lol. The perks honestly don't matter too much unless you're going for like full optimization. In a perfect world all my gear would have health + grit ward + freedom/refreshing or something

So are you just using OPAL gems on all M3 expos. Or are you switching them out match the expo?
I used opals for this dungeon in particular cause both bosses deal all types of elemental damage

Why u dont use hate in earring and weapons? Most of the time i lost aggro because i cant hold it with enough damage enven with the perks like hated
