Looks promising. How does it do with small sticks/twigs in the lawn? Can it be programmed to run on top of the curb at the street? I have a 4” tall & wide curb along the street
I got the Luba to ride the curb reliably after tweaking the map around 5 times: th-cam.com/video/0Q9j5rhtkvY/w-d-xo.html I haven’t tried it with Yuka because I only use it in my back yard. I assume, with the right tweaking, you could get Yuka to work as well. But you might want to ask on Reddit /r/Mammotion to see how others have handled it.
Interesting to know about the mower I was looking at this thing for possibly buying it I'm not sure yet and did you move again I know why Condo life sucks doesn't it? That's what I've discovered moving into a condo with my favorite thing it was amazing when I first moved in and towards the end it couldn't wait to get the heck out.
I moved out of the 55+ community in January 2024 into a “traditional” neighborhood. It wasn’t enough outdoor space for my wife. Now my cup runneth over.
originaly i was able to add a zone that was as big as 8000 SQ foot and the robot will just start cutting and do half and go back to charge and then go back where it left until its done with the entire zone . for some reason now trying to add a new zone is limited to 1000SQ foot . i don't know what to do
I don’t think you want the base in your garage because the robot won’t have a good GPS signal. Similarly, the antenna needs a clear view of the sky at all times.
The most annoying thing about all these non commercial quality mowers is the constant maintenance, so how has that been? Also you mentioned reliability in the first 0:04 seconds then never mentioned that word again, so what's the deal how is it???
I showed all my negatives. Getting stuck: fix the map. Position issue: move the RTK. Trouble dumping in the mulch garden: not much I can do about that. Since I moved the RTK, it’s been rock solid. My son-in-law is still using the Luba 1 that I reviewed last year and he never needed to relocate the RTK. All we do is replace the blades twice a year.
@@handydadtv So no cleaning charge ports, cleaning base station, cleaning sensors, cleaning the underside, no lost position issues, no reprogramming boundaries on the regular, no manual software updating, and have to manually take to home station???
I’m even more curious now about this Yuka
Glad it was helpful 👍🏻

Maybe they saw this video and changed the algorithm.
Ciao. Posso posizionare la base in garage a 10 metri dal prato?
L'antenna va collegata con il cavo alla base di ricarica?

Nope. Not so far. I’m impressed with your research.
i am really pissed . after adding 4 zone that are big it now limits me to very small zone . that makes no sense . its all marketing
🤷🏻♂️
