I think most viewers are aware and understand that something like this is not simple. Then to add the winter weather that we see from this video makes this effort un po 'pazzo. That is a lot of snow. Please stai attento. There is no need to risk yourself. The cabin and TH-cam will still be there when the conditions get better. Now is the time to enjoy the holiday. This is reality for you and personally, as a viewer of your new channel, reality is much preferred. I subscribed because you stated you would not be stopped, even with the pain in your right shoulder, you would not be stopped from living your dream and living life fully. You are an inspiration. I am a 74 year old woman, married but living in Mexico separate from husband who chooses to stay in the US. He is living his life but I wish to live in the mountains and build a cabin. So yes, your realities are important to me, the good and the bad.

Your video is not boring at all. I feel your frustration! But you can't beat Mother Nature, just wait and be patient, and it will also give you time to heal. I have recently had health issues, nothing life threatening, but debilitating none the less, and I find these videos very interesting and relaxing. Keep up the good work and Buon Natale.

Yes, would help!
Some chains for your tires would help your car to go up and down the hills in the snow. A plastic sled with a rope harness would you bring materials to your cabin with fewer trips. Hope this is helpful.
Of course, all the advice helps ;) I have the chains, I had mounted them, the rest will surely be equipment to buy, apart from the ropes that I already have. I have a winch ready to install on the 4x4, I'm also considering raising it a bit...we'll see!
@@mywildlifeitalia This guy's videos may be helpful to you. He has an old cabin at least 1 mile from the road. He has several ways to bring numerous supplies into his cabin in one trip. th-cam.com/video/s6PjmC2kO-s/w-d-xo.html .
Also, eventually installing a woodstove will help with making your heating situation better. Fireplaces are notoriously inefficient.
Filling the cracks in your cabin walls from the inside with fiberglass insulation (especially along the roofline) should help keep the wind out.
With the issue you have with your arm, it seems like investing in a small battery powered chainsaw might be helpful.

Hi Laura, about the elephants, it is said that they were crossing mountains here between France and Italy, but nobody found any steps and any trash of any elephants or something else. Nobody know if they really crossed and if yes, then where?!!!
There are a few possible places they could cross mountain but if you were in this mountains you will understand that it is very, very hard and impossible to do such cross in the winter!
Although french were writing and put some small statuette in the Lac of Mont Cenis (the pass in close in winter now), they would like to believe but if you should pass there, first you should pass some other passes in France that are really very hard, I don't believe it is the place to pass with elephants!

Moncenisio lake is the favorite place to relax in the weekend in the summer for my family but I miss to know that there is a tunnel, even though my husband is from the area nearby!

I’ve just found your channel a year later. These mountains fascinate me. I’m Australian and our landscape is vastly different and as well I live close to the coastline. I definitely didn’t find this episode boring and I’m looking forward to you returning in the coming episodes. I’m keen to see how you overcome the rocky floor as well as filling up the gaps in the roof etc.

We thought your idea for the floating wooden floor is a really good one... We would love to see some of your other life as we love Italy but can't go very often, making your home made pizza.. some of where you live - houses, town and your life in italy would be lovely to see... let us meet your wife perhaps if she is willing . @@mywildlifeitalia Perhaps for the floor you could use something flexible under the wooden floor to allow for different heights of the stone floor.. Perhaps a waterproof membrane then carpet underlay or something with memory foam or foam mats.
