You are very wise my friend. :46. Is that the cross on the Church in the village? I'm am glad you show your wood supply. I do this myself on my property. The sticks make the best fire starters. I also use dryer vent fluff. 🙄lol Your breach alarm is a very good idea. The solar lights against the rock of the cabin are great. I love all your rock it is the Irish in me.. The sunrise was worth the hike in at dark. I was so glad the wolves were not close by.🥰👏I can't wait for your next visit. Laura😎
Hi Laura, my alarm is…how to say, funny in its tune. Sounds like it sounds charging lol...It's very helpful. Wolves beat a path attached to the cabin, you know where I cut wood? Well, they come up from the hill, the problem is that you don't see them and you don't hear them unless they are two or three steps away. The small church has been recently renovated, mass is celebrated once a year, in the summer. Protect the traveler on his path!

I just found you and i am binge watching to get caught up to present. I am so enjoying your videos, praying for your safety and your shoulder is it? I am impressed with what you are accomplishing,working alone and having to deal with the pain ( its hard to see you suffer) and some nasty weather. I think our mountains in Southern California have more snow than yours. It fell down to the base this year..more than in several decades. Drought is so serious. We have another atmospheric river coming this week. Take good care. ☂️☂️☂️
You're right, the drought is getting really serious. I have two springs on the property but they're getting smaller and smaller. I'll have to invent a system of reservoirs to retain as much water as possible while still allowing the passage downstream. Lots of animals come to my property to drink, both them and I will be facilitated. I think I'm using local stones. 💪🙏 Take care Mary!!!

Ciao Federico! Grazie per i complimenti, sono felice che ti piaccia 😉 si, ho considerato il problema dei piccoli roditori o altri animali. Il telo che vedi serve per isolare la lana di roccia che metterò nelle "vasche" create dai moduli dalla pietra stessa. Sto stuccando preventivamente le pietra all'altezza del basamento proprio per evitare che arrivino piccoli animaletti. Una volta chiuso tutto il bordo, messe griglie per aerazione etc, provvederò a mettere la lana di roccia. Le poche intercapedini rimaste non dovrebbero consentire l'ingresso di altri animali 😉 o almeno spero che vada come previsto!
