Whatever I have gathered after talking to many many UP cadre . Essentially it was revolt against Amit shah in UP , the SP highlighting - promotion of Gujrati Business men in getting major tenders in Ayodhya and Varanasi and other cities somewhere demoralised UP Cadre . So disenchantment resulted in cadre not coming out to counter “khatakhat” and abolishment of reservation resulted in such loss .
