I really don't understand why everyone thinks Simonetta and Giuliano are a good couple -- hear me out -- they didn't know each other at all, he just succeeding in seducing her. He saw her one time, thought she was really hot and began romantically pursuing her shortly thereafter -- there was no period where he actually fell in love with her personality or intelligence. Not to mention the fact that the only scenes where we see them together as a couple is them making out or having sex. Point in blank, making love is not the same thing as really being in love. On top of all that, there's just that pesky little fact that SHE WAS MARRIED. It literally doesn't matter how dreamy they looked together, how devoted he seemed, or whatever, if she's married, she ain't your girl. Simonetta broke her husband's heart and there was no reason to think that he was a bad or abusive man during their marriage given we never see him behave in that way towards her. The only moment where we see him get a little crazy is when he finds out she cheated on him -- and let's be honest here, his anger against her was completely justified. Point of this unnecessarily long comment: I don't like it when cheaters are turned into victims. I'm not ready to condone their adultery just because a video edit makes them look cute together.
