Loved this show - cried when the woman he loved died, then sobbed when Giuliano was murdered :( This song goes well with all the clips in this video. This is a show I'll rewatch over and over. Love both Daniel Sharman as Lorenzo and Bradley James as his brother Guiliano in this.
And what sadness is that it's based on a true story. Giuliano de Medici died when he was just 24 yeas old and I've read somewhere that he was stabbed 19times...cruel death
I feel bad for Giuliano and his lover but most of all I feel worse for Lorenzo who lived out his days as a completely different man. His innocence died w Giuliano that day and he bore the burden of Giuliano’s death until his last breath. It was like he was waiting for his days to be over and just doing duty w zero remorse until that day came. Even while dying he mentioned being reunited w his brother. No one else he’d lost. And he lost many.
