It annoys me so much that alfa haven't made a hatch version of a quafrafoglio. A V6 with a slightly de tuned version of the 500bhp SUV and saloon version
These super SUVs really showcase what happens when power meets luxury! 🔥 It's hard to believe some of these incredible beasts are on the decline-what a wild ride! 🚀
Fast estate > fast SUV, all day...but since the only time I've carried anything significant in a car was 300kg of gravel and that was in the Cayman, I don't think I need anything with a big boot really 😄 Filling the boot is great, but I've then got to get it up to my flat and, more importantly, find somewhere in my flat to put it! I went to Costco today, but mostly for the drive...
@@CarsWithJB Being able to split it 50/50 between the front & back boots meant it balanced the weight across both axles better than possibly any other car could too 🤔 Slightly over the load limit, but I drove very gently and it made no unusual noises at all. I wouldn't try it in the Pug, the front wheels wouldn't be on the floor 🤣
No1 in there right mind is buying a cheap mk1 Cayenne they have got to the stage were there under £5 grand but 99% of those buyers won't maintain them & they go from 1 owner to another just doing the minimum to get through an MOT. Or buying them & owning ihe car for 6 months when they can't afford £150 it costs to fill it with Petrol.
👍 Excatly, but let's not let the truth get in the way of a good story. After regularly reading the comments on this channel. Most people who watch it are not looking to spend more than a few thousand dollars 💵 on any vehicle !..
Mer ml63 no point in buying something that will cost you a fortune to run and under new tax rules next year will cost loads ..its pointless showing cars like this unless you have money to waste on running it even tho to buy second hand they are cheap .. you should do cars that don't cost loads to run especially in this country when fuel is expensive and next year the car tax is going up loads for older cars to blackmail you into changing your car by the government 😂
For a brand new Cayenne, not for anything second hand - the one in this vid will increase by £20 annually + inflation (they usually increase with inflation anyway, only difference to normal will be the £20 extra from ‘expensive car tax’)
@@CarsWithJB JB you sure that it only goes up by £20 because that doesn't sound right especially as they are targeting large engines and cars especially diesel vehicles
@@darrenjohnson1952 yeah the big VED change is happening when you buy a new car, it’s first year VED will be significantly higher than before, whereas second hand cars broadly aren’t changing too much outside of the standard inflation piece, plus (in some cases) specific rises, like the expensive vehicle piece which increases from £390 to £410 (at least that’s my understanding from everything I’ve read!)
@@CarsWithJB I know new cars were changing but I also thought old cars that pumped out high co were going up so it ain't just new cars JB some range rovers ect will have car tax going into the 1000s pounds ..I think you need to read up because it's all over the media about these car tax going up for older cars especially diesel vehicles with big engines
@ I hear you, but here’s an example of what Parkers are saying about it: “If you’re not buying a new car, you’ll be able to breathe a sigh of relief. The Chancellor announced that VED will be increasing in line with RPI (retail performance index). The ONS (Office for National Statistics) lists RPI at 3.6% for December 2024 on an upward swing, but it may well fluctuate between now and April 2025.” And “Vehicles that cost more than £40,000 when new (after options) incur an extra annual charge of £410 (this has increased from £390) on top of the standard VED car tax rates, from their car’s second through sixth birthdays.” - so actually, the £20 won’t even apply to the Cayenne in this video from the sounds of things!
Great list, but you can add more cars to it!
Example, all Jaguar SVR + Maserati Levante S 430ch (that lost around 66% of their price in 5/6 years)
Jag F-Pace SVR should have been in here. Unreal car for the money.
DBX and Stelvio are the 2 best looking SUVs, imo. The DBX just hadn't depreciated enough yet!!
It annoys me so much that alfa haven't made a hatch version of a quafrafoglio. A V6 with a slightly de tuned version of the 500bhp SUV and saloon version
Yeah an estate version of the Giulia would have been awesome
Yeah, they thought the Stelvio was enough, but they also never made a coupe... that would have been amazing
Even if they didn’t de-tune it, it would be a monster 🥲
Alpha 147 GTA vibes🔥
@IvahAdenuff great car but not enough power, barerra too
M156 is my favourite engine of all time ❤

Can you do SUVs with reasonable/cheap insurance?
Infinity fx50 worth a shout if you can find one for sale 😊

300kgs of gravel in the cayman is unreal, the pickup-truck cayman!

M156 Merc! ❤.
Should I get a Macan or the Alfa in that price range?
Get the c or e 63 rather than the ml
X5M Competition is the one 😊
A beaut! Nearly included in this vid
Love the no hat look 👊
Bro do hatches next
Surely the Mazzer Levant Trofeo should be on this list? £125k new, now sub £60…
Could be saving it for a £10k video in a couple of months 😆
@@ApothecaryTerry😂😂😂😂😂 Terry!! Ffs
🤣 it’ll definitely get a sub £25k at least!
No one watching this will chose an SUV over an estate or an avant
That is simply not true. At least in my country New Zealand. S.U.V are the top selling vehicles !..
SUV's rock
Fast estate 100% 👍
how can such modern cars have so many problems as they did 20-30 years ago? not a mechanic but would like to know
fast estate all day
With respect no one that watches this channel is buying a 100k car

I’ve bought several over the years, and will continue to.

The point you forgot is the upcoming 2025 UK VED of £2,745 for the Porsche Cayenne, you won’t be able to give them away.
