I learned this stitch from my mom when my sister had bought a Crochet blanket kit and asked our mom to make it for her. Very easy stitch to learn and I was 10 yrs old back then. I never forgot how to do it when my daughter was pregnant with my granddaughter Gracie. I made a beautiful blanket for Gracie with no help from anyone, my mom had died in 1999 and Gracie was born in 2014. I still use this stitch as a back up for blankets, scarves and table runners. Sagaciously Sage Increasing your hook size can often help reduce the curling. Try going up two sizes, that has worked for me.

Robert Biser make it about as far as the skein will go, leaving enough to stitch the ends together and it usually it about perfect 👌🏻
