Maybe I always played it wrong, but don't planes also count for the bonus for admirals & generals? And good call on the reference sheet, its alot better then scrolling through the solo rule book all the time.
Good timing! I actually just picked this up for solo play based on some rave reviews by Chris Yi from DT, but then sat down to learn the rules for the automa and was flummoxed. Seeing it in action doesn’t make it seem quite as bad (but you also have a knack for making complex automa look easy :D). Looks like fun, although seems like I will need to play with someone too. Have you tried Cesar?
