My wife and I were there in 2011. We stayed in a little place right on the beach called Pink Sand Cottage in North Palmetto. It was the best vacation we have ever taken and we have been to over 20 different islands in the Caribbean. It is not commercialized like the other islands and has more deserted beaches than you could ever see anywhere else.
Pink Sand Cottage is directly next to our home on Eleuthera "Romantic Bungalow". We can not agree more with your thoughts on Eleuthera. Thanks for watching.
Sadly Club Med was destroyed years ago during a hurricane. There have been several attempts to rebuilt the resort by several investors, but all that remains are ruins of the once beautiful resort. It is hard to believe that no one has been able to develop the site. The beach is still as pretty as ever.

I went there in the 80's it was wonderful. We were at Club Med, on a pink sand beach! Paradise...
