Some people consider the first two episodes messy, mostly because of the pacing. Which is understandable, they had to introduce the setting, and a pretty large cast of main characters, and it even works for the most part. The show establishes Vox Machina as a bunch of fuck-ups who are actually quite capable and competent mercenaries if they are actually trying and working together properly. But the actual story starts from the next episode, and it's a much smoother ride from here. I'm glad you're enjoying this. Subscribing to see the following episodes.
I enjoyed the first two episodes for sure! Really entertaining to watch in my opinion, I can see what they mean about it being messy especially with this ragtag group of weirdos, but that's how most shows are. I got episode 3 ready to drop the day after tomorrow. I plan to record episode 4 soon!
@@nnofs Btw, don't include credits into videos if you don't want to, but don't just skip them the moment an episode ends. Some episodes end with Scanlan's songs, for example episode 3 ends with a full version of something he sings during the episode.
They had to show the captain getting electrocuted because she was played by Felicia Day, who is the reason Critical Role ever got going, since she asked them to air their home game on her Geek and Sundry Twitch channel. She gets killed again as one of the bandits at the end. Tusk Love is an easter egg for Critical Role's second campaign. The troll dick was another easter egg - for some reason they'd always keep parts of monsters they killed, and they killed a couple trolls. Killing Brimscythe was pretty epic - and it's only getting better from here on. This represented some of their pre-stream adventures, while from the rest of the way is based on one of the most beloved arcs in Critical Role history.
They definitely aired Felicia Day out with that Lightning fr. I see Troll Dick easter egg lol So far the best fight in my opinion, really showed off what their characters can do. An animated DnD sesh is definitely wild, I should check out Corridor Crews 'Son of A Dungeon' at some point too. Since they VFXed themselves into the game.
