- Some mashed up pure sound Idle & driving Videos of latest upgrade to my 02 HSV VY Clubsport R8 the VCM Performance Camshaft VCM713 & CNC Ported Heads. Cam sounds great on idle & i have my burble/crackle back on the overrun & it sounds crazy!

My VE SS L98 is in the shop now getting a VCM 532, lifters, head work, header's, Dyno etc. I just had my gearbox upgraded too. I can't wait to get it back.

Mines currently pulled apart and waiting for the heads to come back from Higgins atm. watching this makes me miss it so bad, I cannot wait to drive it for the 1st time. Went with a crow cam though. What diff gears are you running? im still with the factory 3.46 but its freshly rebuild and i dont want to pull it out for nothing.

I saw your exhaust list but is it just mufflers at the end? No hotdoggies? Do you think 100 vs 200 cell cats would change anything much? Loudness or the crackles and pops? I wanna create the perfect sound like this but not be over the db limit and of course have the poops and pops. It's not the same without it
yeah just mufflers. probably allow more snap, crackle & pop

maybe a bit earlier than that.. say 3400, 3600

Beautiful HSV Mate sounds sick one question with the popping I’ve got a VE SSV L76 it’s got a cam extractors and a 2 1/2 inch exhaust but I’ve got to put on the 3 inch XForce exhaust I’ve got at home now she pop’s but not like yours can you give me any ideas cheers
Thanks mate! yeah just having a good exhaust set up, plus being manual will do it. Lifting of the throttle, especially after giving it a good squirt will dump raw fuel and burn off in the exhaust causing it to snap crackle & pop. Tuning it might help, the tuner will tell the computer to max fuel all the time & with a decent exhaust will do it too almost any vehicle even with an auto if you have a box that will hold gears until you manually change.

Which xforce exhaust is this? Does it have one big rear muffler or twin rear hot dogs?
I have the twin 3 xforce with rear hot dog ,vcm13 cam 1 3\4 4 into 1s with 3 inch cat s'deletes,sounds Killa ,nice deep n loud on Idle and hotdogs give it bark like some of the old school carbi engines,for $640 deliverd even if it took over month best money I spent ,U don't need 2k manta exhaust .ppl say xforce China crap,yes some of the early xforce design weren't the best but now they have xforce here in Australia so they built for Aus cars ,the $1350 I saved from going manta is going on a fast 92 manifold or 102 with big mouth tb 30tho off heads port n polish 36lb injectors,why spend 2 K when the $640 zorst ticks all the boxes
Cheers mate, I have a l76 6litre vz with a camtech cam, pacemaker 4 into 1s with high flow cats and full 3 inch x force system but with the big rear muffler. I liked the sound but thought it was a little quiet so I cut out the rear muffler and replaced with straight pipes LOL sound insane on idle and around town but it's a bit barky when you jump on it, wondering if 2 hotdogs will fix my issues. I tried buying the hotdog tail pipe from xforce but they don't sell it separately. I do agree though xforce is great quality for the price

Hi mate its all x-force stainless 1&3/4 headers to 3" hi-flow cats to 3" X-Pipe cat back which has two center mufflers and one at the back, dont think its a hotdog muffler its more like a resenator. The systems loud, i think all the mufflers do is stop the drone as theirs none at all. Yes i agree definitely bang for buck. I've had a few v8's with different exhaust set ups and for me xforce has been the best.
