Nicely behaving Berlina. Late model white gauge, thought those would be Spica. Always a safe bet to be in neutral at a light, There is a lot of forward pressure on the crank w the clutch engaged, if a bit low on oil or oil pressure you can easily go thru the thrust bearings and wear down the facing on the crank. The more you know the better off you'll be.
@@yellowrat77 thanks! Good tip i had never thought of that. Yes this car was born with SPICA. It still says iniezione on the back but someone in the past converted to DCOEs
@@Abble_7 this is a 1973 Alfa Romeo 2000 Berlina. The double clutching is to reduce wear on the synchros because this style of synchro is a little more delicate and wants to grind. This style was invented by Porsche. The Borg Warner style eventually dominated the market.

I have had a steering wheel in every car I have owned in the last fifty years, I do not have photographic evidence just take my word for it.
