Here is video #2. The first one was blocked by TH-cam, so I replaced the "offending" tracks with a few different demos, some live tracks from 1989 (including a Queen cover), and Andy's collaboration with his roommate Chris Cornell, "Island Of Summer".
Amazing band, prodigiously gifted on so many levels. To people at the time, the comparison with Guns'n'Roses must have looked obvious, but "Apple" is actually a better and more dynamic album than Use Your Illusions 1-2, and there's overall much less excess fat on it than on "Appetite". G'n'R would never have come up with songs like Heartshine, Half-Ass Monkey Boy or Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns, which are completely outside of both the FM radio middle range and typical arena rock.
The hard rock style is the only similarity that can see when comparing Guns with MLB. Had MLB continued their sound would've evolved into a more alternative sound just like Soundgarden and AIC.
Andrew was my soulmate. I miss him so! He left on my birthday March 16 far too soon, and I need him back…He’ll never know… My heart and soul 💔 Landrew Lovechild
❤❤❤So much love for posting. Some of these tracks are even better than on the album. Andy my fellow Capricorn Shakespearian tragedy, he was so close to having his dreams come true. RIP his music lives on thanks so much for posting! Xo
Such a shame ,it would have become huge ,rest in eternal peace..so young ,not vorgotten, and i am now 65,still play him on my headphones, and it was the record before my st bernard Lola died last last year ,mis her ,but MLB,is comforting me ...Ruud from the Netherlands Love and Peace to you all...Ruud
I worked with Greg Gilmore at Budget Tapes and Records in Tacoma. Greg was driven. He knew what he wanted. He is a righteous dude. Last time I saw him he was at the Seattle Rep. Love to know where he is now. Anyone. Burr.
@@mlbloverockso after so consideration, there’s an alternative version on Scot’s site that has one guitar and one vocal and sounds like it was recorded live. As in Andy singing and playing guitar at the same time. Idk if this version includes Bruce or just Stone, being that Andy and Stone recorded extensively outside MLB. This version is completely different than the ‘solo’ version.
This was awesome iv bin a MLB fan since there first music came out. I was touring hard threw those times never did get to see them live. I still enjoy. MLB music. RIp. Rock Star *****
Andy was a rockstar before he ever became one just like Cornell said. This band was so damn good. Truly the best musicians around Seattle.

Which ones where flagged
@@gathrightcrystal Mostly some demos from Shine and Apple. Chloe Dancer for one.

Your right. Listening to many of the songs & Andy's style of singing kept triggering me to think of Axel with G n Rs
They sound more like early Aerosmith than GNR to me

Wow I heard the Led Zeppelin influence in Andy’s voice on the first song
Funny how many people say that, but Andy never mentioned Zep although of course he listened
It was a better time, in another world MLB are the biggest band on the planet.

Me too, obviously.
I also love Mazzy Star and Hope Sandoval for the same reason. 💜🖤💜🖤💜

This is a better insight into how freaking awesome Andrew Wood was. Thru Fade Away. "Oh oh oh oh oh ...."
This mother loves Mother Love Bone....R.I.P. Andrew...

Did you ever get to see him play in Blind Horse? th-cam.com/video/WL5KiC41Vp0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=XqjVuWLWvn3s20xG
He would have huge.
Demo #11 is called “Pride Like Thunder” and is an Andy solo song, but this sort of sounds like Stone and Bruce playing.
Thanks. I will add it to the info. And I agree, it's not a full MLB demo, but it sounds like more than just Andy alone.
