@@BrananPR Yeah, I do watch those VODs, their interactions are often golden, however this is almost never hanging out like some other hermits do, or Tango does often with Impulse, Skizz or Etho. To be fair, Tango has so much to do dor Decked Out, there was not much time, but I think that is yet another reason why it is so great to see him in this series

Bringing up Ahsoka was kinda genius, because Clone Wars is one of the easiest things to get a Star Wars fan talking about (and I say that as a Star Wars fan myself).
Absolutely. So much cool/interesting stuff to talk about: cool planets and world building, galactic politics, the Jedi, the Sith, bounty hunters, Anakin’s story arc, Palpatine’s plot, prophecy, cool new characters, The Force, the 501st (and other clones too), how the Clone Wars ties into the prequels and original trilogy…The Clone Wars has it all.
As someone who’s been a pretty big Star Wars fan for 17 years, I assure you, if someone asked me about Ashoka’s backstory and timeline questions, I would respond similarly to Scar. 😅 And he was great, by the way, assumed Tango only had basic knowledge and tried to answer in a way that would make sense to someone who was less familiar with the topic.

That is easy. try Joel or Martyn this session! Jimmy and Scar simply don't notice surroundings, make mistakes, and have general bad luck. Joel and Martyn, on the other had, play recklessly and put themselves in danger at every chance they get.

I feel like the tasks like that about bases, and the ones we saw about bases this session only work on day 1. After session 1, people have more plans, are more established, gotten their bearings and that will make tasks like that not work out and be super time consuming. Smaller variations on that would work though! Like the first reply, thats a great idea adding to their base without being noticed could be easy enough if luck isn’t working out, and you could do something a bit more complex and sneaky if you know you can manage.
That would have to be a hard task. While you can do that on hermitcraft, the life series is a lot more competitive and people are less likely to give up strategic resources. Tricking them will also almost certainly result in revenge.

It's not a rule, but it's a good idea. Keeps things fresh! I think BDubs and Etho are kind of doing the same thing. Trying to team with others so there's fun new dynamics. I'd love to see a Tango/Scar or a Skizz/Grian. Something really different.

Tango, I know people stress about how to edit these videos, lemme reduce your stress and tell you, even if it's more than an 1hr, I will still watch it. These keep me sane from work. 😅 And honestly I think most of us prefer to see the raw footage than the cut down one.
Tango and the hermits are killing it this whole season! Like Decked Out, Hermitcraft TCG, Scarland, Ren the King, Empire's Crossover, Double Life, Limited Life, and now Secret Life??? C'mon they are killing it and I'm all here for it! ❤️🤣
The “secret” aspect of this season is such a good idea. Even though it does you no good to know what another hermits secret is, it still entices you. And on the content side of things, it entices the viewer who will then go and watch another hermits video they may not normally watch because they wanna know what their secret is. I’ve already watched 5 of these from different hermits when I normally only watch Tango and Ethos perspectives😅
I usually only watch Grian, but ive been going around to all the other life member’s channels to see how they completed their tasks and it’s a lot of fun! I’m glad this series encourages the viewers to branch out

They could call it SECT this time if that does work out. Although the idea of Cleo being somebody's disgruntled ex for three seasons in a row now (four if you count her grudge against BigB in Last Life) is funny too.
Secret Task suggestion: Dance Party. Get at least, say, 2 other people to dance with you for the entire length of a music disk. Hard mode could specify WHAT music disk it is - hope you have the specific one it wants! (Not as far as restricted ones like Relic, but as far as forcing you to go out at night blowing up skeletons with creepers and hoping.)
Secret life let’s gooo! With the amount of people this season we’ll probably have a similar kind of disconnected chaos as we did in last life. Also the Scott, gem, and impulse team up on top of the mountain is way too op lol
i was wondering why no hermits were uploading its been weeks .... just the first episode i i can tell this is going to be one of the top 3 seasons the interesting thing about this season is that it encorages veiwers to watch multiple prespectives or you wont know what their tasks are , it can lead to some tensions between pairing because usually pairs share everything but now they are forced to keep a secret and MUMBO IS BACK!!!!
Disclaimer: I'm not exaggerating I'm fully addicted to decked out videos. The last week i felt the lack of hermit DO videos and when you said no DO till Monday i was disappointed. I'm so happy my dish of full escapism is served!
This series is fantastic already and I can't stop smiling! It feels so much like a community and there's a bunch of interactions everywhere, and I enjoy how you can always see at least one other person's base basically. Also don't sweat about teaming with Skizz, you the best ties bros 💪💪
I think bigB best fills the Alex Horne roll. The deadpan delivery and the way he goes along with anything without explanation, but also explains nothing himself.
Dang it tango it's bad enough I'm overwhelmed with the amount of decked out videos I'm watching but now you all have to bring the New Life series into the mix. I'm going to be a hermit myself by the time I finish watching all these videos!
idk if anyone else has suggested this yet but we think a fun harder task would be that the person has to make someone else fail their own task. it'd be a nice little way to still have a saboteur in the mist of the series even if its only for one episode

Yay, new season! I'm trying to pace myself and watch all perspectives, and it makes so many things make so much more sense now. This is going to be so much fun! Though there doesn't appear to be a Cleo/Tango/Skizz combo this time, a Bdubs/Tango/Skizz and possibly Scar team up is certainly an interesting mix of the formula. It's very easy to fall into familiar patterns, but the efforts put into trying to shake it up don't go unnoticed and are very much appreciated.
"Do you just stuff things in him and he delivers?" 🤣 So happy to see people stepping outside of their comfort zones with the teams (only a little sarcasm, but dang it fight harder for a Cleo alliance)!
Task Suggestion 1: Alter a Player’s base layout(moving around door, window, or furniture placement, etc.) in some subtle but noticeable way without them figuring out it was you. Essentially just make them gaslight themselves about the layout of their base lol Task Suggestion 2: Organize a player’s supply inventory at their base without being caught; if it’s already organized, disorganize it.
Bdubs trying desperately to tell Tango and Skizz about the trident drowned, and the two of them just not getting it whatsoever, is hilarious although, Tango, you have a shield, it can block zombie attacks!
Ah I really hope you and Cleo can meet a middle ground and get back together! It was funny to see such a fast fallout but you two are such a fun and underrated duo!!

I agree 100% agree with scars assessment of Star Wars Clonewars/Ahsoka timeline. Ahsoka became one of my all time fav SW characters (and I'm old school fan from the OG trilogy era)

I loved it! i also feel like you were more comfortable in going for these funny situations and leaning into how the whole storyline created itself. seeing this after listening to the imp&skizz podcast especially the episodes with you made all of this so much better.

I had this same idea, except with convincing Pearl to move the base without her realising it's for a task.

Tango, I know people stress about how to edit these videos, lemme reduce your stress and tell you, even if it's more than an 1hr, I will still watch it. These keep me sane from work. 😅

The “secret” aspect of this season is such a good idea. Even though it does you no good to know what another hermits secret is, it still entices you. And on the content side of things, it entices the viewer who will then go and watch another hermits video they may not normally watch because they wanna know what their secret is. I’ve already watched 5 of these from different hermits when I normally only watch Tango and Ethos perspectives😅
Previously I didn't watch Bdubs, Big B and Martyn (which still leaves 11/14) but now I'm watching all 17 perspectives because of all the secrets!
I usually only watch Grian, but ive been going around to all the other life member’s channels to see how they completed their tasks and it’s a lot of fun! I’m glad this series encourages the viewers to branch out

Ok, I need Cleo and Love Island over there to make up so they can continue the trend of the team just being Etho, Skizz and Tango and a new team member each time.
They could call it SECT this time if that does work out. Although the idea of Cleo being somebody's disgruntled ex for three seasons in a row now (four if you count her grudge against BigB in Last Life) is funny too.

Secret Task suggestion: Dance Party. Get at least, say, 2 other people to dance with you for the entire length of a music disk.
Hard mode could specify WHAT music disk it is - hope you have the specific one it wants! (Not as far as restricted ones like Relic, but as far as forcing you to go out at night blowing up skeletons with creepers and hoping.)
A funny secret (easy) would be to get at least 3 other players to join you in a dance party. Silly but sounds like great fun.
Secret life let’s gooo! With the amount of people this season we’ll probably have a similar kind of disconnected chaos as we did in last life. Also the Scott, gem, and impulse team up on top of the mountain is way too op lol

the interesting thing about this season is that it encorages veiwers to watch multiple prespectives or you wont know what their tasks are , it can lead to some tensions between pairing because usually pairs share everything but now they are forced to keep a secret and MUMBO IS BACK!!!!

This series is fantastic already and I can't stop smiling! It feels so much like a community and there's a bunch of interactions everywhere, and I enjoy how you can always see at least one other person's base basically. Also don't sweat about teaming with Skizz, you the best ties bros 💪💪

Task Idea: Steal an animal from one player and deliver it to other player's base without being caught.
Grian is more of an Alex Horn type of guy rather than the Taskmaster. 😅

I think if Grian is the taskmaster, Mumbo feels like more the clueless assistant that Alex portrays.
I thought the "task master grian Davies and his assistant (in a high voice) little goodtimeswithscarrrrr" was quite fitting.
I think bigB best fills the Alex Horne roll. The deadpan delivery and the way he goes along with anything without explanation, but also explains nothing himself.
Dang it tango it's bad enough I'm overwhelmed with the amount of decked out videos I'm watching but now you all have to bring the New Life series into the mix. I'm going to be a hermit myself by the time I finish watching all these videos!

idk if anyone else has suggested this yet but we think a fun harder task would be that the person has to make someone else fail their own task. it'd be a nice little way to still have a saboteur in the mist of the series even if its only for one episode

Yay, new season! I'm trying to pace myself and watch all perspectives, and it makes so many things make so much more sense now. This is going to be so much fun! Though there doesn't appear to be a Cleo/Tango/Skizz combo this time, a Bdubs/Tango/Skizz and possibly Scar team up is certainly an interesting mix of the formula. It's very easy to fall into familiar patterns, but the efforts put into trying to shake it up don't go unnoticed and are very much appreciated.
This is going to be a great season! The tasks are hilarious, and the player list is so many great people!

I loved it! i also feel like you were more comfortable in going for these funny situations and leaning into how the whole storyline created itself. seeing this after listening to the imp&skizz podcast especially the episodes with you made all of this so much better.

Scar and Tango talking about Star Wars was some of the most pure fun moments that the entire series has given to us. I never thought I wanted to see a part of the Life Series gang talking about Star Wars, but I guess I wasn't _enlightened_ to ever want it. Still though... These two would just make such good film/series reviewers, especially together.
