Unlike the previous series, this one actually rewards watching each and every individuals POV. If two people were together, that was essentially the same thing, but now each perspective is unique due to the nature of the secret task. GENIUS.

Grian and Mumbo will always and forever be my favorite duo. Whenever I watch them I suddenly realise I have the biggest smile or even tears in my eyes from the silly jokes and the chemistry they have.

as somebody who is hard of hearing... i LOVE these subtitles-
not ONLY do they exist in the first place, but everytime someone speaks, their name pops up-
AND IT'S COLOUR CODED- i didn't even know you could do that! each person has their own colour and that makes things so much more easy to understand!
previously i watched scott's one and i struggled to understand a LOT of what was going on because i couldn't hear or figure out what people were saying 😭
same with lizzie's which i watched before scott and grian
i love subtiltes, and i have to say, these are some of my favourite subtitles ever ♥
Task Ideas:
1. Convince other players to give or trade unique items with you 5 times
2. Have 4 different players ride in a boat with you
3. Use the wrong tool to mine a block without someone around you noticing 5 times (EX: mining wood with a pickaxe)
Hard Task Ideas:
1.Secretly give another player 5 unique items without them noticing
2. Borrow 3 different tools from others and give them back (or a tool of the same kind) enchanted without them noticing
3. Lead another person for 5 minutes without a destination without them leaving
Task Idea: Get someone to believe you have a pet mob that is invisible/unrendered for them.
Hard Task: move someone's base 1 block in any direction without them catching you in the act.

The puns are bringing back flash backs of the aha jokes-
I just got into Grians channel fairly recently so when I was watching Secret like and Hermitcraft I always wondered why these two seemed to gravitate towards each other, but after I found out how close they where it all made sense and it just makes me smile
A task idea I had: stay close enough to hear another player for a full minute without them realizing you’re there.
Increase the time to something like 3-4 minutes just to make sure they don't complete it in the first attempt, making it much more hilarious for both the one with the task and the one being eavesdropped

to hard to verify, remember each player has to determine their success within a time span of a session and for that you would pretty much need to confirm it with the other player or watch their video

suggestion- obtain an item from each person. whether they give it to you, you ‘borrow it’ etc

Convince another player that your task has an exception that allows you to tell them what it is. Make them do a silly made-up task with you.

Task idea: Follow a singular player around for 30 minutes without speaking or losing full sight of them
Grian, I've watched Hermitcraft for years. I believe since season 2. I love the Hermits and everything they're done; but, by God, you've brought a such a vitality to the Minecraft world. Whether by script or improvisation, I truly appreciate and have been uplifted by your endeavors across all the different series.
Suggestion: Call 5 redstone components (dust, torch, repeater, ect) by their incorrect names infront of a Redstone expert on the server without them correcting you
Make it so you have to say it to mumbo or tango

if you don't think it's social, picture this, it's night, everyone is trying to avoid mobs, yet you are just walking, everyone has to wait for you if they want to go somewhere, and it adds extra challenge to the fact you can't regen without finishing the challenge
Suggestion for hard tasks: Convince 3 people to believe a ridiculously WRONG trivia about any member on this server without getting caught by the member. The trivias told must be different for the 3 people.
Do you fail if the person who's meant to believe finds out it's false or if the person it's about finds out?

@@JolydieFer I think it depends on how difficult they'd like the task to be. If it's me I'd say as long as the person you tricked expressed that they actually think it's true at one point, and the person it's about doesn't find out by the end of the session- then it's a win, even if the person you tricked came to realize it wasn't true after the conversation
Suggestion: You're not allowed to say a certain word or phrase that the task chooses but somehow get a hermit or two to use that exact word.

Task idea: Make a trade with a player, but then later on in the session, re-trade those same items back.
Even better, do the classic villager scam of stealing something from someone and selling it back to them!
Etho completely missing the jokes because he was too busy trying to convince grian to put a bed down so he could steal it and grian being so happy that etho didn't laugh that he hardly questioned the need for him to put down a bed is peak comedy

Task: Talk to everyone on the server separately. If there is a group of people ignore every person except for one.
Task Idea: Change all of the doors on someone's base, and convince them that they've always been that way.
Maybe better even: Turn the doors around, so that they are closed in the open state. That way a pressure plate would always open them when they get off it.
I feel like Pearl would be good at that.
I love how Grian and Mumbo had similarly themed tasks, but it turns out in a way so that Mumbo practically makes Grian's task impossible and Grian makes Mumbo's task blatantly easy.

task idea: this book is a hot potato and after 5 minutes you will fail unless you put it in another persons inventory where they will have 5 minutes to put into another inventory and this goes on until the end of the game where the last person wont fail but have to reroll for a hard task next game.

- Announce five very unimportant things in the style of a news reporter trying to show off something small as a big deal.
- Cause someone else to get three in-game advancements.
- Convince someone to take on a harder difficulty secret.
- Re-explain exactly the same thing as what someone says using simpler words three times.
- Pretend to accidentally reveal your secret and have at least five people walk with you to the button.
- Invent a word in front of a group of two or more people without anyone questioning it.
Second last one would be funny, I can imagine people's reactions to pressing complete instead of fail

Get somebody to tell you their secret and fail their challenge
Id change it to only scare one person, maybe 2. And getting someone to tell their secret should definitely be a hard task if its added

You have to build your first base out of your least favorite block and live in it for the entire session
You can’t eat any meat or animal product entire session
You can only use one tool for the entire session your choice
You can only use and mine, one type of wood for the entire session
You can’t move a single block her item in your inventory for 10 minutes straight.
You can’t touch any grass for 10 minutes
In my final one, you can’t make a single pun and if you see someone making one or hear someone making one scream and run away like a crazy person for the entire session.

2. Make fruit/food puns at every opportune moment with [insert player]
(tweak to fit with the tasks better I can't think of how to word it without sounding clunky. I'm not the best with words lol)
3. Chat with every player at least once and sing during the entirety of your first interaction with each
4. Trap a Creeper under somebody's base without being caught/noticed
5. Cover at least 3 other players bases with pumpkins (or some other block!)
Hard Task: Get somebody to follow you from one border wall to the opposite wall without them guessing that this is your task.

Secret task: get at least 3 people to guess what task you have, by acting Suspiciously each time. I think this would cause some hilarious interactions

put invisible glass (Gray Stainglass that looks invisible in an inventory) in someone’s inventory without them knowing you were even there. You have to throw the Stainglass into their inventory yourself. no machines/Redstone
Suggestion: mine some red stone and give it to someone but they don’t accept it.
Another: kill someone’s dog
Another: get someone to give you a flower but you don’t tell them what kind. You need a red tulip.
Another: steal someone’s diamonds.
Another: great mutiny between two people.
Task idea: while talking to a player, build a replica of an oak tree without them questioning you
Task: Make Mumbo say "chuffed to bits" at least 3 times

Suggestion: Give a player a cookie and a flower and successfully get them to go on a date with you. Minecraft or not
