I love that generation Miata. It's the first one that doesn't look like a hairdressers car. I'm looking at those also for a possible future car. Put a K24 with a turbo in it 👌👌👌
Yes, the car was custom tuned by the premier ATL Honda Tuner, EB Tec. I discuss the mods and show the dyno pulls in this video... 👍 th-cam.com/video/r8jMqnHc6rw/w-d-xo.html
Hey man, glad you got what you wanted. We still need to get together sometime :) and as for Type-R's overheating, well no kidding because another friend of mine has an R that just overheats when you get on it for a while then horrible turbo lag, at least on his car. But congrats to ya man.
So the Type R felt slow and you went out and bought a Miata? Lol just fucking with you bro. Enjoy the new car... Curious why you felt like a stock Type R couldn't be a decent track vehicle?
🤣 I know...how did I mess that up? 😆 I am enjoying it very much so far. The R was still going to require fuel system modification as it sat, and that is something I never wanted to do with the build. Plus, stock Rs are heat monsters on track. The most active part of track season here in North GA is during Balls-Hot summer months. Most every track focused friend I have with a Type-R has ditched it as a dedicated, regular use track car. If you get fast enough in the car, it will overheat on track without modification. I needed something I could daily AND track regularly without sacrificing daily functionality. Thanks for reading all of this. 😆

I'm hoping to J35 swap it down the road. 🔥
Bro is your Type R tuned? Idk if you know or not but after certain FBOs you *NEED* a tune/tuner to have your car running right.

Thank you! Yeah, we need to figure out a time to get together. 👍
Don't forget to use Dawn to wash the new rotors!
Already done. 🤣🤣🤙

@@MotoRX1 Makes sense. Good luck with the Mazda
Thanks! I just posted my first track video in it. 😁🔥
Have you considered putting the Type R engine into the CRX or Miata? 🤪🤪🤪
The thought may or may not have crossed my mind. 🤣🤣
