Generals would be far more expensive to remaster than first 2D C&C titles, so unless EA thinks they can get their effort back in money or they would be desperate to win C&C players to raise interest about future C&C projects even when the current player base generally did not like EA very much after C&C4, then it won't happen... Though if they make C&C Generals reboot which may not be so stupid as relationships with China are quite low and the Middle East is still unstable after Western interventions it's likely still a good time for such a strategy game where apart from the poor original campaign and AI, they did not need change very much (removing some useless stuff like Microwave tank, rebalancing Humvees, etc. stuff to polish thing into old Blizzard standards). EA likely has a better chance for success when making a good Generals reboot than by trying to make a completely new yet actually better C&C unlike showed and beta-tested canceled Command & Conquer Generals 2 that was gameplay-wise inferior even to 2003 Generals before Zero Hour and patches arrived.

Failed connection: 1-2" anyone know how to solve it ? tried it with 3 friends and still got same error ..ps: when i play with random ppl it works however they cant do that and cant play with anyone

Aditionally, if windows defender blocks the install because it thinks its a trojan, simply go to the threat summary, open the quarantined items, and select restore. Otherwise the exe might be missing for you.

Steam sells RA3 Uprising, which is incompatible with the mod. I had to get the game through Origin, which has RA3 and RA3 Uprising, mod worked immediately after that.
Hi, can someone help me i downloaded and installed Generals Evolution and i cant get it running. When i double click GenEvo Launcher, nothing happens. i installed the 4gb patcher, and i have the RA3 bought on steam.
Can't get it to run. Shows Generals Evolution logo screen then a small black square appears on it. There is an "Ok" button on it. When I click it, it closes everything. I have Linux. Followed all the instructions to the letter.
What i got was that it froze for the past half hour after i clicked play button. I'm not sure why it happened. I ran RA3 and it went very smooth. Tweaking the graphics and all but still not working for me on the genevo. I even placed the folder as an exception for the antivirus as well. Any troubleshoot you know might help? Thanks.

For me it did not work. I did the following: 1. install uprising steam version 2. start uprising and set options 3. unpack mod and start .exe -> will show a splash screen and freeze
how do I run the 4GB auto patcher? all it does is barf out everything into a .txt also genevo.exe doesnt run and the windows mode gets cock blocked by windows defender any advice edit genevo does work after I turn off McAfee Real time scanning turns out it is just auto detecting and quarantining the .exe

it also works on a pirate versions of steam and origin Red Alert 3 as well. so you do not have to buy the game and why would you. do not support EA , steam or origin. cheers.

This is "most-remastered" Generals Zero Hour. The biggest project ever about Generals Zero Hour. Someone did what EA didn't. EA should think about it.

yes, seems like it does. I have a cracked version of RA3. GenEvo doesn't work with RA3 cracked or RA3 Uprising. It has to be RA3 from steam.

Game keeps crashing for everyone when there are too many explosions. Seems the engine can't take it.
It will do also an error and go outside the game? Usually we was playing gzh 4 or 6 players and in the middle of the fight the game go outside
