CCTV Surveillance on QNAP | full setup guide

Here is a step by step guide on how to set up your QNAP device as a surveillance station with 2 cameras at no additional cost. If you have more than 2 cameras you'll need to purchase add on camera licenses.
This guide focuses on the full setup of the QNAP NVR and assumes you have already setup your camera on your network.
We are using a Reolink E1 Zoom which provides super quality HD (5MP) and set it up for triggered events recording.

Perfect video - I've just purchased a Amcrest Smart Doorbell AD110 UK - with RTSP (Avoid Cloud storage costs with other providers) and wanted to utilise my QNAP TS-219P. This helped me set up and mange the Smart Doorbell with the free 2 licence I have with Surveillance Station. Thumbs Up

@@budterence85 Not necessary, just good practice to create a new user and only give that user (apart from admin) access to the CCTV volume and file system.

I have Qnap 231P and tried to use Surveillance Station but something delete all the time my records files. I have low disk space left about 40GB free, but this should happen. my "record_nvr" folder all the time is gone after few minutes.

I'm hoping you can give me some guidance I have two E1 pros from real link I'm trying to connect them to my QNAP NAS but that particular software that you're using is no longer available and I'm having an issue getting them to connect I've been put it the IP and made all the other configurations but it's still not working

doesnt need to purchase for this thing in my opinion..you can make it other way using your home network completly free..like ftp if you area at home
