God i panicked because i saw the title and thought they somehow got the OTHER 'steven gets a storytime' episode that would have totally spoiled events in the finale 😂😂😂

The gems in the uncle grandpa episode are totally over the top and I just love it.
When Greg met the Crystal Gems, the pizza shop was there, but not the Big Donut.
Greg is such a non-judgmental, live-and-let-live sort of guy, that it really stands out when he makes the "he's dead to me" remark about Marty.
The malfunctioning cd player in the van is a consequence of one of Rose Quartz's powers that is now part of Steven's: when emotionally excited they can disrupt electronic devices. Steven caused the VCR player to go into fuzz in Maximum Capacity when he saw Amethyst turned into "Rose".

I'm glad you enjoyed "Say Uncle"! It's a divisive episode (as you're seeing) but it cracks me up.
It surprises me that they let Greg's song run so long in an 11-minute show whose target audience is probably not fans of that sort of thing. (Not complaining, tho.)

The only redeeming quality of the Say Grandpa episode is the sinking ship of Sadie and Lars cuz the fandom wanted them together SO BADLY and I saw that as the writers subtly telling us, "...nope," which cracked me the fuck up.
That's all true except for the "only redeeming quality" part. Sorry, the Uncle Grandpa episode unironically slaps.

Oh man Uncle Grandpa was so cringe 😂😂 Also this was the first step into Rose as a character. Take note of how she said “play with you”. Rose is my absolute fav character in SU. 😍

I freaking loved Uncle Grandma when it still was around. Sad to see people didn’t give it a chance. But yeah, this episode was very fun. I understand why people didn’t care for it but I’ll never agree with the people who hated it. UG was the goat.
i just cant get behind uncle grandpa man. i remember i tried watching it when i was little but i never liked it so i just started switching the channel to nick or disney whenever it came on 😭 deadass refused to watch any show on CN other than steven universe, adventure time, and teen titans go. i was a picky kid.

Hopefully someone else has mentioned it, but if they are fascinated by the temple then they are able to watch the Extended Theme Song starting after Refomed/before Sworn to the Sword.
I'm kinda disappointed you guys didn't skip the uncle grandpa episode but did skip the great divide in avatar. I hope you guys go back and watch it.
The difference is we didn’t know it was filler before hand unlike with Avatar.

I swear incle grandpa first appeared in a episode of Chowder. Unfortunately I cant find the proof anywhere which makes think Chowder help promo Uncle grandpa early. So it might of been a one time thing not a true episode.

Guys, "Say uncle" is actually a 2nd season episode...
But in a timeline sense, it does actually take place before the Season 1 Finale (despite being non-canon)
it was was aired as a season 2 episode but meant to be season 1 episode 48
