@@PretenderStarRail The reason for Gepard is skill point issues mainly. Gallagher needs to use a lot of skill points to heal and can't use Trend so less Acheron stacks. March can use Trend but can't sustain as well as Gepard and is not skill-point efficient. Fire MC is good on skill points but I don't really like them and they are hard to build. Who would you suggest?
Been WAITING for a guide like this thank you! My E2 Welt iv been so confused on how to build so just been using him as a Crit DPS. Really been wanting to make him Sustain Welt to go with my FireTB/Welt/Pela/Acheron team I have planned. Fire TB ready to go with 50% Effect Hit with DEF gear and Universal Market.
My cup of tea is hypercarry welt: I'm on 2 piece salsotto right now but with a little more cr subs ill switch to 2p rutilant arena. Need better pioneer to switch to 4 piece; 2waste2pioneer. Running crit rate/atk/dmg%/atk with no speed thanks to sparkle yukong speed tuning. Also huohuo sustain for that guaranteed 2/3turn ults (e4 so ult rotation is smoother and ehr lower on skill w signature) Also for Welt's signature, while its good for the ehr on skill it does not add to his total ehr for his imprison/vulnerability on his ult which is a bit unfortunate Great guide and hope to see a lot of Welt love when acheron releases!
This was an awesome guide because it showed both build types but coming from another gatcha game that has as much gear rng as Honkai I don't understand why every build guide I look up doesnt give clear and concise goals or thresholds of a full builds statlines. A simple table that would suggest a certain amount off eff/att or speed to give us a target to reach one would really help.
I just returned to HSR when 2.0 released and pulled for sparkle and I got welt in the same 10 pull too! So after I watched the livestream not only did I get guaranteed for Acheron now I also get a great Welt to pair with her for free! So this video will definitely help me with that.
I'm new and got him on the beginner banner, lost 2 50/50's to him, and got him from standard banner. Yes, that's right, I've only ever gotten welt or the featured guaranteed. Will be fully building him for Acheron so thanks for this.
Okay Pela and Welt are all set to be with Acheron. All I need left is a defensive unit that gels well with the 3 of them. Can't wait to experiment the heck out of this.
ever since I got more into Hi3 my urge to build welt has massively increased, currently building him as a dps with my sw sig thats been gathering up dust. Ty for the video really helped me get more insight into what relics to go for
Man, I'm glad I can just farm one relic set for both Welt and Acheron And other gacha games I play are Genshin (it's a love/hate relationship) and Punishing Gray Raven which I started 2 months ago, I really enjoy that one
I've been on a sustain welt youtube hole the past couple of days and this is easily the best one. I do think that the ERR planar sets (Pen/Von) are worth mentioning as an option if you're running tutorial + ER rope for sustain welt. From there it should only take 2 skills + 1 basic to get his ult back up (and for the very niche players that have E2, it will only take 1 skill + 2 basics). Otherwise with no ERR rope or set, it will take around 4 skills to get his ult back up
Lol I'm that specific niche player who has E2 welt unintentionally. He was my 5* from the beginner banner, the my first 5* from standard, and then lost a 50/50 to on Jingliu lol. I guess finally his time to shine XD
Another Gacha that I enjoy playing besides HSR is Punishing Gray Raven; super enjoyable especially now with the release of Crimson Weave, also great guide 👍

I've made an other account for Acheron and this pulling was INSANE. Before the banner I got a Welt lc from standrad, on the banner I won the 50/50, got an Acheron (78pull), then a sig lc (10 pull), THEN a Luocha (10pull), THEEEN a Welt from standrad (22pull)... I also have e2 Pela and Gallagher now...
Amazing guide! Only thing i wanted to hear that wasn't mentioned were the 4pc eagle's and 2pc vonwacq sets for sustain welt, wouldn't they be more consistent and safe for a pure sustain welt if your only goal is to free up space for a harmony unit?
4pc eagle is indeed an option you can run, but the reason I mainly opt'ed for these options is so Welt's damage can still remain to be good, since Welt's damage is extremely solid even as a sustain, I just think you can get overall better results with these builds instead. As for Vonwacq, the reason I don't recommend it at all is since the ERR you gain doesn't hit any breakpoints in general even with paired with an ERR rope, and the second part only works in the beginning of the battle, so while it can set you up in the beginning, I think the overall benefits you get from the listed planar ornaments are better due to them being throughout the course of the entire battle, still benefitting shorter battles, but also benefitting the longer battles a ton

i think Aceron Pela Asta Welt could be hilarious Asta has the burn on her basic and she Ults so often so more speed = more actions per cycle = more debuffs per cycle = more Ultimates for acheron so i think shes got some real value i can see this being a real popular team for people doing low Cycle MOC runs so they can do triple harmony builds on the other side
Now i know my team Acheron, pela, welt sustain, fire mc with universal market(ik welt slows enemy turn so this might reduce its potential but i did this just in case the enemy got a turn) But i could replace fire mc with healer or bronya Also i use atk sphere bcz it has 8 spd and idh imaginary sphere that matches the 2pc IPC

Are you near pity on standard? You could wait a bit. Like me, i was missing only himeko and could pick my standard but i waited a bit and got her on my standard banner pity. So i ended up picking bronya eidolon.
I want to run acheron with welt sustain, pela and ruan mei for to buff acheron and help welt with delaying the enemie even further. Would silver wolf be a big upgrade to pela or is it not that big of a differance. I might want to get her for my acheron team if its worth the jades
Would using Welt, Pela, Fire Trailblazer (trend lc), acheron be good because using the trailblazer wirh trend lc, he would obviously want to be hit more to apply debuff but with welt on the team, welt would be slowing down the enemy so trailblazer cant apply debuff slowing down acheron ult. Using welt in the team can provide more dmg and applied debuff but would it be better if I just use Pela, SilverWolf, Trailblazer Fire, and acheron?
@@GOATaroit doesn't give him spd it just advances him forward when the battle starts, but that only works on the first wave and the 5% err doesn't help him reach any energy breakpoints
As the other person said, but very mainly due to how the effect is only at the start of battle, so it can help you setup, but it'd be better having one of the other ornaments since they last forever if you have the conditions met (broken keel = team gets 10% CD bonus for entire battle, same with having glamoth if you got 135/160 spd, having the dmg dealt up, etc
Hi Mr. pretender please do answer! Does Acheron's Light cone work on Dps Welt? I was wondering if it will make him hit harder, I want to pull that light cone for my Dps Welt.
You can, it's a really nice option for his DPS, increasing the dmg he deals with enemies afflicted with empty bubbles, and also gives him a nice crit dmg stat stick, overall really good for DPS Welt, just be sure you have enough EHR already on your build since that LC doesn't give you any, and Welt likes a decent amount of EHR even as a DPS
I have e3s1 welt and im just using him to support and not sub dps for ratio. but still, he can deal much damage and planning to build him as a real sub dps
I just need to build a Speed sub dps welt I already have s2e1 (from SW. Kafka banner) so Better build him like that and he is also good with Dr. Ratio Also is Preservation Trailblazer a good sustain for acheron she can cast burn and aggro
Yes, but you'd have to very much have to worry about skill points and managing them. Since you want to be using skill with mainly both Dr. Ratio and Welt, and Pela too for the quick energy sometimes, and then Fu Xuan every few turns, it may become very difficult to manage
break effect can be nice, but if they don't have imaginary weakness it's useless, since welt doesn't have to worry about them not being weak to imaginary due to his ult applying imprisonment regardless
Welt = Enemies attack less, better damage on hit BS = Acherons output is a little (VERY SLIGHTLY) higher from her skill def lower, has DoT so dmg overtime either or are fine, although if you already have BS on a DoT team, keep BS on there

Bronya's LC benefits more than just having Bronya, since you can use it on like Sparkle, Tingyun, RM, etc etc. So just see who you have and who would benefit from the Bronya LC and look at nihility characters you got that would benefit from the Welt LC overall, and then go from there
Not as effective He's being talked about a lot for this because Acheron needs nihility teammates, which he is, and debuffers, which he does. So he uses those to his advantage on the Acheron team. For other teams, you're mainly better off using him as an actual DPS with an actual sustain character

4pc wind is great for Pela break SW is also fine, as long as they're built decent you'll be fine, and then trend fu xuan is also good, so you're looking pretty set

SW overall is the best partner due to how easily she applies debuffs
But Pela is very close, especially if you're running the pearls LC on her

Bronya's LC benefits more than just having Bronya, since you can use it on like Sparkle, Tingyun, RM, etc etc.
So just see who you have and who would benefit from the Bronya LC and look at nihility characters you got that would benefit from the Welt LC overall, and then go from there

He's being talked about a lot for this because Acheron needs nihility teammates, which he is, and debuffers, which he does.
So he uses those to his advantage on the Acheron team.
For other teams, you're mainly better off using him as an actual DPS with an actual sustain character

4pc wind is great for Pela
break SW is also fine, as long as they're built decent you'll be fine, and then trend fu xuan is also good, so you're looking pretty set

don't recommend it, only really helps for the first turn, the extra ERR doesn't help much either from what you'd have already from the ERR rope
