GCLR Episide 15, Shuffling Stock

Welcome to Episode 15 from the GCLR.
In this video we see a bit of all sorts. Firstly introducing 'Little Gronk' , and to explain a 'Gronk' is an unofficial term used in the UK to describe shunting locos, they are also called "Jocko's' by many people too. Here we see Little Gronk collecting wagons from around the railway.
The railway is in full swing now with freight, parcel and passenger trains running. The GCLR Engineering Works has completed, a new passenger coach is emerging from the workshop, and Bert is assigned to take it for a test run before he takes up the main passenger train.
Test complete and Bert has to take Bulldog to work the passenger train, while Alf, Harold and Jonesy huddle round to have a discussion, which is really gossip as Bernard Brew has slipped away.
Later we see Bernard Brew has gone to see Nervous Nancy, he tells her he has 'dropped off the radar' no one will notice he has slipped away to see her. We think Bernard Brew is a bit of a romantic!
The passenger train is busy today and Alf Harold and Jonesy have no time to gossip and fear getting caught by the General Manager.
As always the video is made with love and kindness and made to bring a smile to your face, its a bit a fun, with the aim of learning to make videos to keep the brain ticking over.

Well a bit of a catch up for me 😊things have been busy in the garden railway, love the new carriage ,strawberries and cream lovely colour ideal for the summer I think . Nervous Nancy isn’t so nervous these days,perhaps because love is in the air , need to choose one of the “ lads “ no two timing . 😇keep up the good work lads your doing a great job.

Thank You very much indeed, it has been a busy time, any railway never stops.
Nervous Nancy, is I agree less nervous these days, and her love interest is helping for sure, its a distraction for one, but the GCLR are working very hard every day to make things better and important make people smile.

What is that which supports the track at 0:15 ..

The track is laid on decking board made from recycled plastic. ( mainly the black stuff which is harder to recycle) where there is a incline on the railway as there is at Allans Way Halt 00:15, I have used stones and recycled glass from LCD TVs
The GCLR is a very environmental railway!
