- This is my ukulele fingerstyle arrangement for "The Sound Of Silence" by Simon And Garfunkel.

This song have very specific and super small differences between the verses.
On some places a chord is played a little bit earlier, on others they add a bar.
So if you want to play it like a master - pay attention to the last two lines of every verse.

I would love to play ukulele but I'm unable to produce some of the chords because my pinky finger is literally 2 inches long.

Try with a soprano :)
not really a problem, either you uke is too big, or you just dont have the strethability XD
practice every day and your finger will get longer .. your bones will stretched just like when you have a broken leg or arm;) Same couldnt do anything with my pinky now i can. Its like you play with 2 potatoes
I need your advice, I want to buy a ukulele but I don't know which size would suit me well. I usually fingerstyle alot on guitar and I'm planning to do it on ukulele too. So should I get soprano, concert or tenor?
P.s I still want the sensation of ukulele so baritone is a big no no from me since it sounds a lot like guitar.
As an intermediate-advanced finger style guitar player I’d recommend a tenor ukulele if you are still going for the ukulele sound. It is the one that I have and it’s super well sounding. The exact ukulele I have is a Kmise tenor #KMA26T and it has absolutely amazing locking tunings. Once our strings are stretched out you only need to tune like once a month! I’ve had my ukulele for 3 years now and it still sounds amazing. 10/10 would recommend it
If you can go to a Guitar Center, Sam Ash, or another store where you can try them all. I have one of each and play the concert the most, followed by the tenor. I seldom play the soprano. If I doing fingerstyle, I never choose the soprano. I have little hands and usually play the concert for fingerstyle.

how to tune the ukelele. I don't find the right tones.
i'd recommend a physical tuner, but if you don't have/want to buy one you can download a guitar/ukulele tuner app on your phone. the standard tuning for a ukulele is G C E A, g being the string that is most left on a ukulele if you stand it up.
