I work with the company in Changwon, Korea that manufacturers parts VOLVO assembles at the plant you were at (quick coupler, turn tables, buckets/teeth, boom arms, etc). I would have definitely set you up with a tour of that plant too since they are just a few miles away. If you get back to Korea, let me know & I can set you up with some plant tours.

I wonder how much bigger the trees could be and still pull them out of the ground by the roots with that 480D and a thumb? The big bucket for a 480 is almost 4.5 yards.
I think I'd probably want to load a few trucks with it, too.

A few million $ lined up in the stock yards, and a lot of digging power, shame you didn't get a free one for visiting lol. I'm surprised that on a lot of them the booms are in the air and not resting on the ground to relieve pressure on the rams. Small tractors made in the 1950's use the oil bath air filters and are still made today

Is that shop yard concrete or steel plates? Oil bath air cleaners? look under the hood of any 1950s truck Its like a brillo pad smashed into a cylinder, the bottom sits in oil, the oil wicks up and catches the dirt, wash it with diesel and add fresh oil now and again. I'd think a paper filter was more predictable as to contamination.
