Bobby has changed my family’s life! My son at 3 years old was already reaching for junk because that’s what we were doing. A year later, he’s reaching for whole fruits and veggies and we are all getting nutrition from great food sources. I’m so grateful for everything I’ve learned from this channel!
Appreciated a budget friendly video. Buying organic products all the time can be a budget buster so knowing alternatives was very much appreciated. Thank you.
I’m so glad you’re bringing healthy choices on a budget because I think that’s what lots of people are concerned about but it is true you can eat healthy on a budget! Thanks for sharing your tips and tricks.
Your knowledge and information are priceless to me. Because of you, I have changed my approach to my eating habits, all those videos and explanations and highlights are gem all the way. Thank you for your dedication, efforts and time. Love Violet from Canada. ✔
I love how you live in the gray regarding food choices. Organic vs nutrient dense vs wholesome or harmful ingredients. It's never all or nothing with you, but it's rather on a scale. I really appreciate that. I have given up eating healthy because I didn't do it perfectly thinking all was lost anyway, rather than getting some good nutrition over none. You really changed my thinking, Thank you!!!!
I agree. At home my son ate a lot of organics but getting out on his own he is going without organics because every penny counts. He figures that it is a season and then he will be able to afford them on his own.
Remember this is a budget friendly video. Stop suggesting Sprouts or expensive breads. The more pressure we put on stores, together we can force stores to carry better quality food at a reasonable price. Most products that are suggested most people can’t afford. Great video Bobby 👍🏻
I’d love to see budget friendly and healthy hauls paired with recipes! I have been challenging myself to lower the grocery budget, but I also want to eat healthy. So it’s been a challenge. A healthy budget-friendly haul and recipe video would be perfect!
Bobby and Brad... Thank you for making these videos. Lately your content is next level. I know you put a lot of work into helping us eat healthier. I have been making better choices because of you... God bless you and your family🙏🏻❤️
My daughter with health issues has completely done better using what you preach and by joining your thrive market. Yes what you put in your body is what makes you healthy.
Love to see more of this. Family of 6 here and budgeting is top priority. It's always so helpful for me to know the options that are available out there. Super helpful.
Thomas DeLauer and you Bobby have brought so much to my attention! I realize now, I was raised on foods with high fructose corn syrup, when food got more convenient! When I was little we lived in dairy and farm country in Washington state and all our meat, dairy and produce was fresh! We had our own garden and fruit trees and berries- we were thin, healthy and energetic, played outside all the time! Had healthy snacks and then we moved and times were tough and that’s where we had less healthier food options!
Hello Bobby! Could you do a video on clean brands of dog dry and wet food and treats please. I have been following all your suggestions for my self but feel guilty about not doing the same for my pups! 🙂
Hi Julissa, I'll try and make it simple for you. Best Option for Dry Clusters- Honest Kitchen chicken and oat or beef and oat Best Options for traditional dry Kibble- Orijen then Acana. Just not the singles for the limited ingredient diet, those were linked with dcm (i read every report) Best Option for Dehydrated- honest kitchen wet food- honest kitchen pour overs, orijen and acana canned food. extras to feed the pups- sardines, egg (no need to cook), blue berries, broccoli on occasion, canned pumpkin, oysters, cooked oat bran if u don't have pumpkin. if u want can also cook lean ground beef 90-93% lean only, 90-93% ground turkey, boneless skinless chicken thighs. I've read 4 books on feeding dogs and prepare my own balanced raw food meals, occasionally cook, and feed everything I recommended here. lmk if u have more questions
I have been binge-watching for over two weeks now, and this video is excellent for me to start getting myself and my family on the right track to healthy eating. My budget is meager, but I decided to start making slight changes wherever I can.
I would love to see a video of the best store bought healthy snacks for toddlers (2-3 yrs old). For toddlers who still don’t really like most fruits and veggies!!
Thank you for these videos! Lifesaver! I used to just buy frozen veggie meals thinking that was healthy on a budget. But now realize they had a lot of natural flavors & added preservatives. I’m not much of a cook, so your Aldi recipes are so helpful! I tried to buy more organic/less processed food and make my own. I already lost 2-3 pounds within a month without trying or feeling deprived. Would love to see more budget recipes. Really has been invaluable!!
Another tip: Flower’s bakery. My town is very small, but even we have a flowers bakery. They sell Dave’s killer bread for only $2! If you get there early enough in the morning, they’ll even have the sprouted, which Bobby himself recommended the most! The expiration date is only a couple days after you buy it, which is why it’s so cheap, but if you refrigerate it, you can’t tell a difference! Happy shopping :)
You have opened my eyes when it come to eating healthy. Before I used to to the supermarket and read the ingredients but I had no idea what I was reading. After I started following you now I know exactly what I’m going to buy. My kids and husband we all eat healthy food thanks to you. You change our life. Thanksgiving you so much for making this videos.
Yes! Yes! And Yes! I love this video. Practically bought almost every single item you recommend. Mom is a diabetic. Dad has health issues and i want to just be healthy. Please show more budget friendly videos. Aldis', wal mart, publix, winn dixie, dollar stores. Whole foods.
Yolanda Las Vegas Thanks to you, et al, I have cut out inflammation, coughing & phleg/mucous so my health has improved. A lot of your recommendation brands are at Albertsons Mkt & Cardenas, Mexican Mkt.
"Hi Flavcity! And Brad!" Thanks for sharing about the difference in the vitamins and which to go for! You're right- Costco's is definitely worth spending with the berries! Even with the Brown rice, you're getting your money's worth compared to the white rice! Yum- dessert for Breakfast!!🍫 🥧🐯Oh Boy! Take care!💕☮
Hi Bobby and Brad! Ever since I started watching you I subscribed to Thrive Market, I read the labels now when I go to buy something and avoid things that aren’t good for me. You only once so might as well live well and healthy. Thanks again and have a great day!
yes please budget healthy recipe's would help us all....as you know folks have lost their jobs and are hurting but still have to eat something. Thank you Bobby for taking this issue to heart. We can't always buy organic or higher end products. Will be looking forward to future videos on this >>> Eating healthy on a budget with the recipe's.
A few good finds along these lines... Sprouts is great for budget friendly blueberries and sprouted bread...and awesome produce deals in general.... Costco has good deals on Dhalia organic brown jasmin rice and egg whites, and at my local Nature's Own bread outlet I find Dave's bread for $2 a loaf.
I'm not exactly sure why some of the comments here are putting Bobby down! He is the first one to consider prices and he is always trying to advise which stores carry better deals for the same items! The fact that he suggests sprouts or organic breads is because that is the truth of it....they are better for you! Would he suggest it if he personally knew everyone's budget...no. But he is speaking to a general wide audience. Please remember he offers choices. My husband and I have lost (within 2 months) almost 50 pounds strictly because of Bobby and his advice. Yes, we did it but his options allowed us to choose which items we could afford and we went with it. We'd never heard of some of the items! Pure love for Bobby!
We are vegetarian and trying to navigate the grocery stores to select vegetarian and. Vegan sources of protein and cheese. What are your recommendations and any recipes for this? What do,you think of Gardein products and can you do a segment on this?
You are so full of information that helps the common person because if you're not a chemist you don't know what's in your food thank you again for helping us
As for fish I also recommend Ikea salmon from Norway it's a very good option packs more om3 and if you can find Norwegian Mackerel is suppose to be very affordable and very high in om3
I like this budget friendly options. Your other videos I could only add the staples - sea salt, Irish butter, olive oil, almond butter. I shop at aldi's the most for groceries and halal butcher for meats and spices. I will look into costco to get collegen powder and pantry items.
I’ve made your almond milk recipe. Omg. The best I’ve ever had. I proceeded to purchase your two cookbooks. Great info and recipe. Thx for sharing your tips and knlwledge
Do u really think those low quality whole grain products (rice, bread, etc) are healthier than the white, given that the whole grain options usually have higher amounts of glyphosate, arsenic, and lectins? I’m still on the fence when it comes to whole grain vs non whole grain. Awesome video as always! 👍🏼
Dr Gundry explain why brown rice and brown whole grain bread is bad. It goes bad and rancid, unlike white rice. Brown rice also has lectins. The healthiest longest living people are the Japanese, and they don’t touch brown rice or whole grain bread.
@@Nucleric I freeze my bread and use as needed, so it never goes bad. I use quinoa instead of rice, and it’s so good. I like brown rice too, but don’t cook it very often.
@@karendobbs8153 Yes! I love quinoa, especially red quinoa. I make it with half chicken broth, half water. It’s so much tastier and more nutritious than rice. I buy multi grain bread with seeds, which I freeze because I hardly ever eat it. Whole wheat bread is no better than white bread. I don’t like the way frozen salmon tastes, so I’m willing to pay more for fresh wild caught.
I love your videos I am in Canada toronto and when you come here I want to go shopping with you - you teach us a lot thanks - I was looking for a special pasta that you told us about before but we did not have it anywhere in Canada
I have ways to save money on keeping food fresh. Yes.....yes I buy frozen berries because when I buy fresh they always go bad. Also I freeze whole organic ginger. I take a hand food grater and just grade the ginger whole with skin. If you have leepy carrots or celery, I put them in a jar fill it up with water. They stay fresh for weeks. If you have leafy celery I keep some of the stem and fill up part way keep leafy out of the water. If I don't use up the tomato paste, chipotles, or sauces freeze up in dollops on a plate. Take them off the plate and put into a bag. I buy the whole chicken to make lunchmeat, free fat from the skin, chicken skin snack, free bone broth, and chicken wings or chicken party parts. Use the whole vegetable or cut a vegetable so you get the most. Thanks for this video......
Tony the tiger, They’re not Great! Good one! Yes, always good to see healthy foods on a budget. I like ammunition when relatives say to me, you can afford to eat healthy but I can’t. How about the spices you see at Walmart. Do spices have to be organic to be good? Are those really cheap ones any good?
Love your videos but I don’t understand why you suggest farm raised. I have not heard anything good about farmed fish. Love to hear how to choose safe farmed fish.
you mentioned once Dr. Steven Gundry, so it looks like you read his book " the plant paradox" He seems to have a different opinion on brown rice and whole wheat flour/ bread. He doesn't think it is healthier. He says, the bran in those, causes harm to human digestive system. What is your opinion on the subject?
I’m glad you did this video. Many people want to eat better but feel it’s expensive. I’ve told my friend about your videos but she said she has a family to feed and can’t afford all the ingredients you cook with. Please make more video showing budget friendly items. Where I live they don’t sell Dave’s bread. What would be the next best option?
On your grocery halls at the end you can just that it might not be 100% Bobby approved but the best option for the budget. I am starting to make the switches slowly and I want to get to the point where my family and I are eating cleaner but as a family of 5 it can be hard to stay on budget, still get stuff that my kids and husband will eat lol and not waist food.

Is there a Spanish speaking version of this channel? I'd like to get my mom to watch some of this good nutritional information
We need more videos like this! With everything going up… have to save money and eat healthy
Yes, more budget foods videos. Have been on plant based, but having issues with blood pressure. So confused, doing research on Keto diet
