Tbf Wanderer's Burst is also not THAT important to use and you generally don't build around Ulting every rotation because it lasts quite a bit and requires an amount of ER that impacts his overall damage too much. Although to be fair, since Wanderer has his airborne state from which he has to get to the ground and lose time anyways, Bursting at the end of his Skill duration isn't gonna lose as much time as you think since you would've had his descending animation whether you Ulted or not.
Plus in the right teams a lot of off field damage is being done in the meantime. Ayato, Furina, Yae, etc all are triggering booms or hyperblooms while she is mid-burst. A lot of bosses have invulnerability or very high res at the start, so there’s no point using everyone’s setup that does damage over starting with her burst. Wenut, snek, etc have downtime to use it. I feel like it’s an overstatement to say her burst isn’t worth using most of the time when there’s a ton of teams that make it worth it, and teams where it isn’t it’s very marginal. He’s just too attached to the double hydro with Raiden where he needs the I-frames.
@@leiah6514 well, he did mention that he preffered using it during invulnerability phases, both serpent and wenut spend a lot of time spawning/emerging, which is why he said he used it a lot this cycle.
Loved the video, the new format is nice, i would add that the first question is the classic "overall place in the meta and pull value" and then take questions from there, i always liked how the videos started with that straight forward question
In general, I'd say that's a good idea. But it's Nahida. I don't think her meta and pull value will ever change haha. If Baizhu and AlHaitham couldn't put a dent in that, nothing will.
@@majo6944 somewhat but Genshin does avoid extensive power creep for the most part. So it would take significant effort to kick Nahida out of her placement which would disrupt a lot of other characters and since she's an archon there's very low chance that Genshin would make that choice.
@@Sinovian I'm not talking about powercreep, I meant that new characters releasing can impact some already existing characters, like how furinas release suddenly made jean a very good unit to have, or how navia gave ningguang a niche place in the meta, or how Gamings and xianyun's new plunge playstyle affects yelan/xingqiu who don't proc their bursts on plunges compared to furina who does, etc
Nahida blessing all of us with no circle impact, limitless 25s off-field Dendro application. Who at Hoyoverse thought this was balanced lmao. But hey, I won't complain about having strong C0 characters.
C0 Nahida changed my account year ago. Nahida helped me to clear the game and she is always the boss. It doesn't matter if you just have Nahida, after that everything just happens. If I was a new player, i'd get nahida and furina next
I don't think I can recommend furina for new player as they won't have access to mitigate all of her drawbacks. Maybe Raiden and Kazuha is better for them
@@LandryArri Raiden and Kazuha are much better if you have alot of units that works well with them but Furina is much better for new players since Hydro is busted and even a cope freeze team with Kaeya can work because Barbara is free.
I'd rather suggest Yelan for a new person over Furina. Like the other guy said, you *really* want some full party healers to make her work effectively, and she will feel very awkward to use if you don't have somebody like Baizhu/Jean/Kokomi to leverage her downsides. Yelan, on the other hand, doesn't have any of those caveats with the slight downside of her Damage % buff not being as strong as Furina's. Team-building with Yelan is gonna be a lot less stressful on those players.
@@LandryArri Furina is definitely new player recommend. They can cheese most fight by climbing a tree. Barbara and Noelle is easily accessible. They can easily do Vape Amber or Electro Charge Lisa or Perma Freeze Kaeya. Plus water walking is a big deal for new players. Raiden is a terrible new player recommend. She scales too hard with Talent Level since both her utility and damage is affected by it and her C0 is only good as EM or with National. There's a reason why she was deemed mid during her first week release. It's because most people would not have maxed out her Talent.
im a mod on the stream so if you want to meet me specifically and maybe want an autograph (although i dont do those often (busy guy)) feel free to join
I genuinely love the design Furina has in comparison to Nahida, like she's a very strong unit but she comes with a few down sides that make her feel more balanced, like her needing team wide healers so just running Bennett alone won't always be enough to cut it and shielders just are not worth it anymore, her making your team feel more squishy by draining their health, the pets being hard to turn off which makes VV set up feel bad on follow up rotations, etc etc. With Nahida on the other hand, the biggest issue I've personally dealt with her kit is she applies too much dendro which makes aggravate team swirl set ups slightly more annoying, imagine saying that about any other unit
Another down side she has is that she has difficulty in applying dendro in waves of enemies. Like if you defeat a wave of enemies to quickly you have to swap into nahida again to apply dendro which can mess up rotations
This new format is actually pretty nice and I prefer it to the old one. Also, I got Nahida with this 2nd rerun. Playing her with Raiden Yelan and Xingqiu instead of Baizhu or Alhaitham is really a blast.
Am I the only one that doesn't need to learn these things but likes Zajef voice in the background while I do stuff? LMAO lemme know Anyway I listened ahahah thanks for the help like always, I liked the video
My Nahida is paired with Yae Miko, Furina and Baizhu. Very flexible skill bot team and nice damage on ult with 3 characters giving Yae a bonus on her burst
I've been enjoying a team a lot that also feature her, which is raiden, furina, nahida, jean. Now hold up before you say: "Wow, expensive. Worthless, pass!" Allow me to explain why this team is so good (other than the fact that it has 3 archons in it 💀) 1. There are 3 characters dealing dmg at the same time 2. There are 4 different elements in this team 3. It has automatic and high up time attacks 4. It synergizes in a near perfect way (As in, regardless whether they are archons or not. Venti+Zhongli+Raiden is nowhere close to this level of synergy) 1. Why is this good? Because typically a multi core team is better than a hypercarry team due to how hypercarry is entirely limited by the capabilities of the carry 2. Well, it essentially makes it impossible to get bricked by any element (other than maybe geo) 3. Not only it makes it way easier to play, it also makes you less likely to lose dmg due to burst animation 4. First, raiden has interruption immunity (or super armor as you may call it) which makes her able to do her thing. You know, generating energy dealing dmg applying electro on field etc. In this team nahida is the only one who doesn't need energy, so the energy is very appreciated. Second, furina increases not only her's, but also raiden and nahida's dmg at the same time. Although it's just furina doing her thing but because of how much dmg bonus she gives, and how much dmg she deals herself it makes up with the dmg loss of losing hyperbloom. Third, a lot of nahida's dmg gets boosted by dmg bonus so all those buffs from furina is not even close to being wasted. In fact it is very much highly appreciated. Plus furina makes up with nahida's weakness against multi wave enemies Lastly, jean enabling furina's buffs through healing, being essentially a 64 energy cost character but still provide 80 energy worth of resolve stacks to raiden, also very easy to proc double swirl The rotation I use is rather messy but it is precisely it's benefit, because that means you don't really need to worry about messing up. Raiden E > Furina EQ> Jean E (Q if team are low) > Nahida EQ > (you can fit jean's Q here if you want, it doesn't matter that much) Raiden Q. Then it's basically just raiden being raiden until you start from beginning again Personally I find it very easy and comfortable to play with. Not only in abyss but also in all kinds of domain, daily commissions (triple archon E 🗿). It's the team that I'd use if I want to turn off my brain Is nahida a must in this team? Not at all. But that's precisely why she's so good. Because she can make any team she's in good (unless you put her with geo I guess 💀) while doing so effortlessly. All of it being available at C0. So yeah, you don't need her. But she sure as hell will be a valuable addition to your account
Oh yeah forgot to mention, don't build full em on raiden. You don't do that when you have furina in the team, especially if either raiden or furina is C2 Also if you ask me whose constellations should you invest into for this particular team, I'd say furina. Furina's C2 is just too good
She's a godsend for new players ( i remember as a f2p new player crowd control being a problem, her skill helps you overcome that limitation too for a team)
10:43 Furina is inherently more versatile because hydro is more versatile than dendro (dendro only interacts with pyro, electro and hydro. Hydro interacts with all elements including dendro). And a dmg% buff is more versatile than an em buff (only characters that trigger reactions care about em, while all characters that deal damage care about dmg%).
The main reason for me why I don't run Nahida in a team is usually there being too many waves of enemies that changes fast. Like floors 9-11, it's really annoying to me to run her, cause I need to switch on her frequently to apply her E.
@@nyx_018 I have her on deepwood set, about 912EM pre burst and have around 60/120 crit rate/damage. She has her signature weapon. Her skill damage is about 52K just in case you confuse it with the hyperbloom crits that goes up to 77K damage.
@@ShanShan-tp6nt ohhh my crit is around 70 -200 guess em is more important than crit hmm? Intrestung though does she benefit off deepwood shred when she wears it. Bc i want to have full gilded nahida sometime soon after fishing my kaveh build
@@nyx_018 for hyperbloom damage, it all depends on the electro trigger. I have Kuki with Flowers of paradise lost 4 pcs set with 1K+ EM. Also regarding the deepwood dendro resist shred, if no one in the team has it, Nahida should use it all the time. If someone can use deepwood e.g. Yae Miko, Kokomi, other dendro units, then Nahida can have other sets like gilded. However this is only for her personal dendro damage. If you want to improve your hyperbloom damage, invest as much EM in your electro trigger (mine is Kuki or Raiden). I don't know if gilded is better or Flower of paradise lost set is, but I have better FoPL artifacts so I use that.
23:19 the example that comes to my mind is cyno teams with baizhu Not only are you buffing nahida with furina, but baizhu only has one other set he could hold ( song of days past) which doesn't exist So putting baizhu on deepwood, getting nahida to 1000 em without em circlet and going crit can be much better
TRUEE C6 DORI IS ACTUALLY REALLY GOOD and we get to see her jin in action which is the best part of her kit.. i may or may not have a dori clear on my channel (it was for zyonix’s abyss form submissions
I'd take an off-field dendro that is like dendro pyronado/Kuki ring - smaller aoe, doesn't need great damage, but just consistant app, without need for refreshes. Nice for waves and for my skill issue overtaking dendro with hydro in Nilou teams when I on field Kokomi oop.
The problem w the format to me is just that some questions gets too specific, like you had to answer two Alhaitham related questions when so many other character benefits from her
Same, wasnt planning on getting it, but I wanted it since shes my favorite, but she melts things anyways. Went for bird mama lost 50/50 at 70 pity, said fuck it, tossed 40 wishes on Nahida and got C1 and C2 on the 4th ten pull.
Prior to C2, I don't like playing Bloom/Hyper/Burg due to how braindead it is. I always paired her with Alhaitham, Beidou, and Fischl for my personal favorite Dendro-related team: AggraSpread. After C2, though (was chasing C5 Gaming and succeeded), I'm interested to play Hyperbloom just to see 6-digits Hyperbloom damage due to C2 crits. XD Still, C2 Naheeda makes my AggraSpread team like 50% better. Alhaitham peaked at ~65k Crits, before was just ~45k. Beidou & Fischl was so hard to differentiate, but both legit also slaps way harder than before. XDD
@@hiroshiichirou I play her in Alhaitham quickbloom, even at C0 that team never failed to clear abyss 12. I think that hyperbloom its fun, I started last year so being able to gear a team fast was great. Now the team just melts, not only you got the crits, the def reduction its also noticeable. I would like to try a burgeon/burn team, I hope that Natlan wrings something like a Nilou for that.
@@hiroshiichirou getting 75k dmg hyperbloom ticks is so nice. The debuff on defence from quicken and agravate is awesome aswell, my alhaitam is critting for 35k per mirror.
Alhaitham and Nahida fun fact from my latest abyss experience: I could not clear the Wenut chamber in time with Nahida C0/Yelan C0/Kuki C2/Alhaitham C0. Removing Nahida to have more hydro fixed the problem: Alhaitham C0/Xingqiu C6/Yelan C0/Kuki C2. I understand it was even not related to DMG, but how frequently I can burst with my hydro characters. Yes, ER was the problem :)
You would have got same result by removing Al-Haitham and keeping Nahida. The main issue is that two dendro damage sources is not great vs. Wenut, since it's not a swirlable element so cannot benefit from popping orbs for res down. Whereas XQ+Yelan do solid single target blue damage by themselves, especially during the vulnerable phase.
@@phoenixlauI did not know swirl occurred after popping the orbs :) Thanks. Nahida or Alhaitham, it is not really important, they are both on DW, but Alhaitham does much more front-loaded damage IMHO, and that is important in that fight.
you can have energy recharge and good favteam setup if you don't have Raiden, you can have multiple char options to group enemy if you don't have venti, you can have other shield options that just get the job done if u don't have zhongl, but you can't rly replace what nahida does. beyond even Yelan and Xingqiu levels. This is the ultimate future proof char. You get her to C6, You Get godlike artifact so you have both 1000+ em and crit value at the same time, and after that you have both the strongest on field and off field character at the same in one slot. while also enabling crazy spread/aggravaye carrys. i can't imagine nothing powercreep this that is not like Celestia itself xD that just wipe the board with 999999999 dmg kek
I finally got Nahida after losing two 50/50s to her. My favourite team with her is Nahida-Xingqiu-Thoma-Fishl (I use her with proto amber and it's enough). I don't like her in my Alhaitam-Furina-Baizhu-Kuki team because with Nahida I don't get as much fanfare and get staggered a lot, which makes me lose mirror procs (also it feels threatening to be low on HP).
Am I tripping or did he not answer the question at 26:29 ? thought the question was if her signature changes her build priorities? although it is very in character for him to instead go on a minute long fav weapon rave lol
Dendro really suffered the most from the element not being in the game from the start, I think. Every other element in the game had strong off-field options early on except Dendro, so when they had to introduce it, they had a totally clean slate. So they release Nahida as the only really viable off-field dendro damage dealer to make her value skyrocket, and now they're stuck in a place where they can never release another one that's as good for the rest of the life cycle of the game, because they don't really want to powercreep the archons.
@@theroses00murata will have skill that deal masiv aoe off field pyro dmg without icd has 200% uptime and each hit has twice pyronado hit scaling ascend with crit and having ascension pasiv that deal twice as much dmg if you not putting xiangling on either side true
Oh my god i hate Widsith so much, RNG weapon that makes you gain a buff that you may not even want and then you're stuck for 30 seconds without a buff to get another buff that you don't want.
The variable damage due to the buff falling off is a nuisance, but Nahida can at least benefit from any of the three buffs it provides. Just treat the buff as gravy and focus on the constant 55 CD and it is a very viable weapon for On-Field Nahida to run, since her EM needs are lower than Off-Field.
That's why I only use it with Yae, who can make use of all 3 buff and have 15×2 second rotation and burst once every 30 seconds. Feel like that shit is made for her and her only.
Bergeon is goated. Its saved my ass on last abyss. for my acc toma berjon is my aoe pyro team when i need that in both sides. Last abyss was wtf i got bosses and aoe.
Absolutely! Since she can leech up to 250 EM from Kuki/Raiden/Kazuha with her own Passive Talent during her Burst, then she doesn't need a Full EM set-up when used as an On-Field Dendro Driver. If you have C4, then her EM needs get even lower, since she will give herself another 100+ EM just for having even one enemy tagged with her Skill. My C6 Nahida has 568 EM, and gains another 347 from Kuki + C4 boosting. She's using Widsith and a Crit Rate Circlet, for a total effective EM of 915 during her Burst and an effective Skill Crit Rate of 99.9% during Burst with 178% Crit Damage to boot... and her Burst easily has 100% uptime thanks to C1 making one Hydro unit count as two. I could swap to a Crit Damage Circlet, but the "80% Crit Soft Cap" seems to be a myth, and every single hit dealing 278% Damage seems to give a better average than 70% of hits dealing 322% Damage, unless my math is flawed. Heck, if you have someone else using Deepwood and are instead running Gilded on Nahida, then you need even *less* EM than that!
@@sonadowfiend okay thanks it's just that I am grinding artifacts but having really hard luck with pcs. I was thinking of using nahida in two teams hyperbloom and as a support in aggrevate team. So was just thinking of an optimal build for her (considering my luck with deepwood) so that I will use a crit weapon on her when she is on field and a em weapon when she is off field with something like em/em/crit. What do you say about this.
@@coc_champs I only use her on-field myself, so I might not be the best to answer. I'll try to though. First of all, if you have her off-field, do not use Mappa Mare; the Passive only works on-field. Use R5 Magic Guide (Passive works off-field) or R1 Sac Frags as a stat stick for more EM and Atk. Remember that the higher her EM gets, the higher her Skill Crit gets (up to a maximum EM of 1,000). This includes any buffs, such as C2 Kazuha, C6 Diona, 4-pc Gilded, etc. Don't sweat it if you can't reach that 1,000 EM, but do your best since all of her off-field Damage is tied to her Skill. Depending on your weapon and sub-stats, Dendro Goblet *may* be better than EM. It's something you'll probably have to experiment with, but I myself use EM/EM/CR with a CD weapon for On-Field Nahida because I only have about 570 EM on her (which is actually an effective 670 due to C4, and then 920 after her A4 tacks on another 250). While a Dendro Damage Goblet helps some builds, it arguably becomes somewhat less important with C1 (because that makes 0 Pyro Units count as 1 for her Burst, granting just over 30% Bonus Skill DMG while Burst is active). That being said, if I had some more EM in my sub-stats, I'd play around with Dendro Goblet to see if it helped. Farming Deepwood is a pain, I know. The only consolation is that you're also getting Gilded pieces for your Kuki/Raiden/Thoma/whoever.
@@sonadowfiend Ok thanks. I did some calculations so I can get around 900 em without em goblet with passive/ability with sacrificial fragment and around 600 with crit weapon. I can get more if I get some in substats but I am having bad luck in even getting main stats on pcs rn so I will have to see.
@@coc_champs Don't forget that her A4 Passive only benefits the on-field unit, so it can't be factored into your Off-Field Nahida calculations. If you've got 600 EM with a Crit Weapon and without an EM Goblet, then you're definitely doing something I'm not, and you should be good around there for On-Field Nahida; as stated above, I only have 670 EM with an EM Goblet *and* C4 factored in. Not sure what your Crit Ratio is; for reference, mine before her Passive boosts the Skill Crit Rate is 78:178, and 99:178 after.
How viable is proto amber Nahida in aggravate teams? I personally use it in abyss because it just clears way faster than with YaoYao, but I'm not sure how viable it is in high damage floors
I think with furina Nahida's damage got a pretty monstrous increase. I was running a spread/quickbloom team with a on field yaoyao. I noticed on that team my nahida was hitting for 80k+ at c0. im honestly thinking about trying to make a golden troupe set for her and put the yaoyao on deepwood.
Golden troupe is good for her when she is off-field, but she really is the perfect Deepwood holder. Unless you are in a situation where you can guarnatee 100% uptime with Yaoyao for all the enemies it will probably not be worth it unless you just have better stats on the GT set. Also if you are doing Quickbloom, you will probably get more damage on-feilding Nahida anyway because she can get the ~250 EM from her A1 which will directly increase the damage of her spreads, increase the EM her skill scales off of, and feed into her A4 to increase her skill damage even further (it doesn't snapshot so you can't do that from off field). Just the A4 bonus with that 250EM would be an additional 25% DMG, and 7.5% CR for her skill. On top of that you get the 15% dendro damage from 2pc deepwood, 250 more EM which benefits her base skill damage and spread damage, all with a higher number of spreads triggered (through her normal and charged attacks which apply dendro more often and consistently) and the fact that they will be triggered by Nahida who would have better damage than Yaoyao (both because I assume she has a more damage focused build and because her A4 and her direct EM scaling for her skill mean that even with the same artifacts she will do significantly more damage than Yaoyao would). I.e. if you are on purposefully on-fielding anyone in that team Nahida will be the best option, and you will gain more damage by using her on-field than you would from putting her on GT.
I'm on fielding yaoyao because of furina. even with a full dps build yaoyao easily full heals the team. yaoyao is actually doing surprisingly high dps because of all the buffs from furina, raidens skill and emblem set. although all my polearms suck so that's a bit of a problem, all I got for 5 stars is skyward spine.@@kanoaika
Yup. She obviously gets better with Constellations, but even at C0 she slaps with Magic Guide (off-field), Widsith, Mappa Mare (on-field), or Sac Frags (despite the Passive not really helping her).

I’m not sure I like the implication that fridge allows non Nahida bloom teams to get even close to Nahida bloom teams in clear time. (It’ll be closer when you compare it to very low investment Nahida teams but fridge just doesn’t scale upwards with good Carrie’s like Nahida does) Don’t get me wrong it’s cool and will clear but Nahida is still gapping in clear time for most accounts. She just has too many strong teams. I think fridge is more of a testimony to how good dendro is as a whole, but implying that Nahida isn’t that much better because of fridge is respectfully a bit goofy.
You've misunderstood his point. Fridge is not really in the upper tier of hyperbloom variants. It works because duh hyperbloom, but there are stronger hyperbloom teams. What he's saying is that if you want to run fridge, then slotting in Nahida won't give you as much gains over other dendro options (compared to her higher gains over other dendros in other hyperbloom teams), because Nahida overwhelming dendro app and fridge preserving dendro aura are redundant benefits.
@@phoenixlau idk at the end of the segment he basically said “fridge can bridge the gap between Nahida and non Nahida bloom”. It just sounded a bit off.
@@chuckguy120 I didn’t really get that impression but if that is what he meant then it’s less goofy yes. I just think fridge itself is cope and a testament to how Op bloom is.
Guys I tried to get Xianyun but lost the 50/50, now I did 40 more pulls and here I am, thinking if she really worths nearly 160 pulls? I have almost every character and I have been 36ing the abyss from 1.6(I am a 1.3 player) Do you guys think if she is worth that many wishes? I know she enables plunge and with her, furina and bennet you can make nearly any character a carry good enough to clear abyss. But in the end it is just plunging and vaporizing with a pyro character or a hydro character by fully utilizing her kit. My question is this: Is Xianyun worth 160 pulls for someone like me or should I go for Arlechino who will probably be a quite good character and make overload meta with Clorinde.(based on the leaks so far I know things can change but I am sure they won't make Arlechino weak and Dehya 2.0)
Super late but, the best answer is: is Xianyun fun for you? If the abyss doesn’t matter anymore cuz you can clear, then pulling a character for meta reasons is a less valuable reason. In your case, you know what Xianyun enables - Clorinde and Arlecchino we still don’t know what they’re going to do, we have leaks sure but those are always prone to change, especially this early. A character’s value can change *in* beta even (Xianyun herself had her grouping reduced and lost her universal value for example) - Clorinde and Arle are also *two* five stars, so you may be forced to choose between them at first. All of these characters will get reruns at some point so it’s down to who you’re will to wait longer for. If Xianyun enabling a new playstyle seems fun to you, then why not go for her? If that’s not very fun to you, then wait.
My Nahida right now is using EM/D/C and her Crit ratio is 55/230 with 360 EM is my EM way too low or should I lower my CritDmg and change my circlet to EM circ
i would aim for at least 500-600 EM, her skill is her primary source of damage in most cases so having high EM is important for improving its damage. at the end of the day though, just try out different main stats and see what does the most damage! substats are everything and what works for someone else might not work for you and vice versa lol
I think its way more simple. If its a cyno doing hyperbloom, go EM EM EM deepwood with EM catalyst. Reach 1000. For anything else its EM DENDRO CRIT, with CRIT catalyst.
I usually enjoy your videos but I couldn’t make it 4 min into this one. Do twitch viewers really watch your videos and not ask redundant (or irrelevantly specific questions) compared to TH-cam viewers (commenters)?
Can I get away with Petra Zhongli insted of anemo in Aggravate team? I wouldn't need to slot healer, is it good trade of or is the damage gonna fall of too much?
I dont know the number but its obviously dps lose, you get less shread you get less dmg% and you lose some personal dmg on kazuha because kazuha swirl on full em build while triggering agrovate is pretty high, it also help the fact that while you do your setup kazuha e q can trigger fischl a4 3-4 time, but i clear with those team and its kinda fine, respectfully i rather play this team rather than trying swirling electro with nahida
Kazuha and sucrose are much better than zhongli for aggravate teams. Not only do they provide dmg bonus and shred, aggravated swirls deal a lot of damage.
im still confused lmao, is crit better for onfiend and EM better for off field? and if im building crit, how much EM should she still have assuming she's running magic guide?
that's the short version, if mainly on field then EM/Dendro dmg/Crit with a normal good crit ratio...if mainly off-field then triple EM up to or near the cap on her passive
@@deathmetalalchemist5861 thank you! i just got her and sources always says the opposite, either "dendro/crit is better even off field" or "try to reach 1000 everytime" haha
Look at the KQM guide for more specific general recommendations (yes I recognize the oxymoron lol, it is there because the ultimate answer is that it depends on the situation). The basic decision flow is the following: You are trying to balance 2 things normally, Nahida's damage and the EM buff that she gives with her burst. If your team doesn't benefit from the burst, build her for damage (I will explain what that is for various situations in a bit). If your team does benefit from the burst EM, then: If you already have someone else on the team near 1000 EM, build her for damage. If you don't build, Nahida to get as close to 1000 EM as practical (i.e. it is not build at all costs, still a balance); extra stats above 1000 EM should be diverted to damage stuff. If Nahida is on-feild, EM typically looses value as she will be able to access the additional EM from her A1 passive during the burst. To build her for damage generally it comes down to balancing stats for your specific build--both the EM focused and balanced builds work similarly in theory and it will come down to what you specifically have. When on-field, EM is less valuable because you get the extra from the A1 passive so you can focus more on other stuff. Also in this role her normal attacks (especially when triggering spread) can deal good damage which doesn't benefit from the A4 further incentivizing the more balanced build strategy (i.e. building damage% and crit more directly). When off-field, building to near 1000EM is *minimally* better (theoretically) than builds that balance EM Dmg% and Crit (the difference being due to A4 passive conversion of EM to extra crit and damage% for her skill; her sole damage source when off field). Balancing stats and picking the one you have better stats with is the most important. tl;dr: *build EM if no one else on the team is near 1000EM and you want the A1 EM buff maxed* (most important factor), otherwise just build her for damage (which depends mainly on what you have available). The balanced build tends to be better for on-field and about as well as the EM focused one for off-field. Personally I am runnng EM DMG% EM with 488 EM, 48 CR, 187 CD, and 131% ER (whenever doing anything serious there is someone building EM on the team). I use her mainly on-field with some off (not totally off like in a Cyno team though, more quick-swap kind of off). I am using Widsith for her. If I were using Sac Frags or Magic Guide, I would probably use the same thing (because they are still my best artifacts rn).
To put it simply, if your team with nahida has a unit that builds high em then crit is better since her burst takes the highest unit's em to buff the on fielder.
Now that I have one of those Nahidas, I'll want, no, need a DPS Bennett team without Yelan and Xingqiu. And Furina is looking for a new spot as well... Bennett - Fufu - XL - Jean, dual carry Bennett and Fufu? Hmm..
Nahida's burst animation is actually a short one. It just feels long because of how flashy it is. It's 1.77 seconds, the same as Wanderer.
there's also the weird ayato burst thing where you cant move for a little while that makes it feel longer
What was Zhong animation time again? 2.3s?
Oh actually he does these questions at the end.
with new characters coming out all characters place in the meta is gonna change, like furina/xianyun release for example

Furina is an absolutely terrible pull for a brand new player…. But an absolutely essential pull for anyone who has a solid roster.

Hi Hello
ludballs
@@joeltoomer3332 true, but this type of content is not common, I don't have cyno so I've never dealt with it outside of infinite enemy spawning events

Yeah, I had to rewatch, because 50:170 it's still pretty good for nahida.
50:170 will still give you more damage than a "perfect" ratio of 65:130
50:170 on the stats page is especially fine since her ascension passive gives her skill dmg up to 24% crit rate

This format got way more interesting questions, loved it!
I've started being lazy to use nahida burst in double hydro hyperbloom because yes, it takes longer to put out 😂
My Nahida is paired with Yae Miko, Furina and Baizhu. Very flexible skill bot team and nice damage on ult with 3 characters giving Yae a bonus on her burst
I've been enjoying a team a lot that also feature her, which is raiden, furina, nahida, jean. Now hold up before you say: "Wow, expensive. Worthless, pass!" Allow me to explain why this team is so good (other than the fact that it has 3 archons in it 💀)
1. There are 3 characters dealing dmg at the same time
2. There are 4 different elements in this team
3. It has automatic and high up time attacks
4. It synergizes in a near perfect way (As in, regardless whether they are archons or not. Venti+Zhongli+Raiden is nowhere close to this level of synergy)
1. Why is this good? Because typically a multi core team is better than a hypercarry team due to how hypercarry is entirely limited by the capabilities of the carry
2. Well, it essentially makes it impossible to get bricked by any element (other than maybe geo)
3. Not only it makes it way easier to play, it also makes you less likely to lose dmg due to burst animation
Plus furina makes up with nahida's weakness against multi wave enemies
Lastly, jean enabling furina's buffs through healing, being essentially a 64 energy cost character but still provide 80 energy worth of resolve stacks to raiden, also very easy to proc double swirl
The rotation I use is rather messy but it is precisely it's benefit, because that means you don't really need to worry about messing up. Raiden E > Furina EQ> Jean E (Q if team are low) > Nahida EQ > (you can fit jean's Q here if you want, it doesn't matter that much) Raiden Q. Then it's basically just raiden being raiden until you start from beginning again
Personally I find it very easy and comfortable to play with. Not only in abyss but also in all kinds of domain, daily commissions (triple archon E 🗿). It's the team that I'd use if I want to turn off my brain
Is nahida a must in this team?
You don't do that when you have furina in the team, especially if either raiden or furina is C2
Also if you ask me whose constellations should you invest into for this particular team, I'd say furina. Furina's C2 is just too good
29:01 im really liking raiden/fischl/bennett/nahida, feels great to play and lines up really nicely in terms of cycling everything
"All characters work with plunges now"
Meanwhile Childe not having a plunge animation in melee form #sad
She's a godsend for new players ( i remember as a f2p new player crowd control being a problem, her skill helps you overcome that limitation too for a team)
10:43
Furina is inherently more versatile because hydro is more versatile than dendro (dendro only interacts with pyro, electro and hydro. Hydro interacts with all elements including dendro). And a dmg% buff is more versatile than an em buff (only characters that trigger reactions care about em, while all characters that deal damage care about dmg%).
Better format, but I wish the questions were more specific for volumes 2 onwards.
WoW Everyone, lets hold hands and balls
guess whos back, back again
nahida in a quickbloom plunge team is kinda goated methinks
zajef at the end predicted emilie 😭
Nahida is very comfortable, pulled her on both of my accounts LOL
The main reason for me why I don't run Nahida in a team is usually there being too many waves of enemies that changes fast. Like floors 9-11, it's really annoying to me to run her, cause I need to switch on her frequently to apply her E.
Those floors are trivial compared to 12, character choice barely matters
@@Ayzev Well I know but it's still needed to complete them to get to 12 every time and it's annoying to use her for me for such.
Or during limited combat events when there's tons of waves too, I usually regret taking her every time.
9-11 I use Venti for Team 1 ang Kazuha for Team 2 that doesnt change for a few years now. I o ly change team on f12
I finally got her C2! 77K damage hyperbloom is still crazy to see in my screen😂.

@@nyx_018 My guy, Nahidas build have almost no impact on HBloom dmg, its your electro unit who does Hbloom dmg
I never cared much for Dendro but after that 3.7 Abyss. I swore to get Nahida at all cost
Lmao. The 3.7 abyss trauma was probably created to make everyone pull for Nahida😂
genshin without dendro is like the nba in the 60s
23:19 the example that comes to my mind is cyno teams with baizhu
Not only are you buffing nahida with furina, but baizhu only has one other set he could hold ( song of days past) which doesn't exist
So putting baizhu on deepwood, getting nahida to 1000 em without em circlet and going crit can be much better

I play aggravate with Zhongli, so my Nahida goes with 900 EM.
If only baizhu is aoe…
@@sentryion3106 like Baizhu and even Yao are fine, but I do still see a niche that wouldn't be worse than Naheehee nor better, just different

Yes, ER was the problem :)
that's why you run xq instead of yelan
@@mickysaif No, that's why I used both Yelan AND Xingqiu, to have more ER and quicker burst uptime.
Nahida or Alhaitham, it is not really important, they are both on DW, but Alhaitham does much more front-loaded damage IMHO, and that is important in that fight.

you can have multiple char options to group enemy if you don't have venti,
you can have other shield options that just get the job done if u don't have zhongl,
but you can't rly replace what nahida does. beyond even Yelan and Xingqiu levels.
This is the ultimate future proof char. You get her to C6, You Get godlike artifact so you have both 1000+ em and crit value at the same time,
and after that you have both the strongest on field and off field character at the same in one slot. while also enabling crazy spread/aggravaye carrys.
i can't imagine nothing powercreep this that is not like Celestia itself xD that just wipe the board with 999999999 dmg kek

What I'm actually hearing from this video is "pick Yaoyao for lantern rite"
Dendro really suffered the most from the element not being in the game from the start, I think. Every other element in the game had strong off-field options early on except Dendro, so when they had to introduce it, they had a totally clean slate. So they release Nahida as the only really viable off-field dendro damage dealer to make her value skyrocket, and now they're stuck in a place where they can never release another one that's as good for the rest of the life cycle of the game, because they don't really want to powercreep the archons.
Venti got powercrept, so I don't think they care lol

Something I missed in the video: how much of an upgrade do you think she is in a salad team?
Oh my god i hate Widsith so much, RNG weapon that makes you gain a buff that you may not even want and then you're stuck for 30 seconds without a buff to get another buff that you don't want.
Yep that sucks but atleast it is obtainable crit DMG weapon. We don't get them easily for free.
I just think of it as 55 cd that you don't have to get from artifacts and anything else is just a welcome bonus
Right way to use widsith is just to treat its passive as a bonus and not as something to think about when trying to get the stats that you want.
19:12 Charlotte? I kinda like this team with her
A very nice comment
Is it right to say that she don't need full em build for on field dendro hyperbloom
If you have a 50% Crit rate and 170% Crit damage, there’s something wrong…..
I feel called out
All I learned is Zajef is scared of Pyro Nahida.
Since not brought up in a triple bydro Nilou R1 key koko, yelan and Nahida who triggers more and how would you build Nahids
How viable is proto amber Nahida in aggravate teams? I personally use it in abyss because it just clears way faster than with YaoYao, but I'm not sure how viable it is in high damage floors
I am using em em crit with 674 em on r4 widsith
14:25 how does one build such a Dori... ADC? TF? lol.
Plunge cabbage
Question guys is c0 nahida without her weapon and cons 2 still fine on account to have?
Her weapon isn't needed. Her c2 makes her a monstet but even at c0, she's arguably the best dendro in the game
Yes.
She's stupid strong at C0 even with a 3* weapon.
Nahida is so strong...works on a blue book without cons and with crappy artifacts
Yup. She obviously gets better with Constellations, but even at C0 she slaps with Magic Guide (off-field), Widsith, Mappa Mare (on-field), or Sac Frags (despite the Passive not really helping her).
absolutely, shes already insane at c0 without weapon
Eh, cant we use ayaka in the cryo bergeon team freez kinda fell off and she is benched. But she has 100 na cryo uptime and i have built and have no wrisly
Zajef would you do WuWa(Wuthering Waves?)
why type WuWa then immediately type out the whole "Wuthering Waves" instead of just typing Wuthering Waves

Any chance of a Xiao version, Zajef?
Can u make a dendro character tier list. My acc is filled with the 2 dendro healer and nahida. But i want a sub dps other than nahida. But i dont who to build
I’m not sure I like the implication that fridge allows non Nahida bloom teams to get even close to Nahida bloom teams in clear time. (It’ll be closer when you compare it to very low investment Nahida teams but fridge just doesn’t scale upwards with good Carrie’s like Nahida does)
Don’t get me wrong it’s cool and will clear but Nahida is still gapping in clear time for most accounts.
@@wilburforce8046 And by that he meant in term of dendro core generation.
I have almost every character and I have been 36ing the abyss from 1.6(I am a 1.3 player)
Do you guys think if she is worth that many wishes?
14:31 YOU HEARD IT HERE FOLKS. START PLAYING DORI. LIKE YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN SINCE THE START. DORI > SHINOBU TRUE.
I think its way more simple.
If its a cyno doing hyperbloom, go EM EM EM deepwood with EM catalyst. Reach 1000.
For anything else its EM DENDRO CRIT, with CRIT catalyst.
In a Nahida/Dehya/Xq/Fischl, if I reach 1k EM with dehya, do I need with nahida as well? She's driver with EM 4* book
mahida cares about the em of highest team member for the buff so if dehya is already 1k em then it doesn't matter for nahida
@@mickysaif Ty for the help!
My C3 Nahida is a healer with r5 Prototype Amber
flexing lol, notF2PBTW
Does anyone play both Nahida and Sucrose on prototype amber in an aggravate team?
Nah, I'd a
I usually enjoy your videos but I couldn’t make it 4 min into this one.
Not only do they provide dmg bonus and shred, aggravated swirls deal a lot of damage.
personally I do that sometimes and it's not that much of a downgrade especially if you don't need the grouping
Nutritional value =)
im still confused lmao, is crit better for onfiend and EM better for off field? and if im building crit, how much EM should she still have assuming she's running magic guide?
that's the short version, if mainly on field then EM/Dendro dmg/Crit with a normal good crit ratio...if mainly off-field then triple EM up to or near the cap on her passive
@@deathmetalalchemist5861 thank you! i just got her and sources always says the opposite, either "dendro/crit is better even off field" or "try to reach 1000 everytime" haha
@@deathmetalalchemist5861what is a good crit ratio
Look at the KQM guide for more specific general recommendations (yes I recognize the oxymoron lol, it is there because the ultimate answer is that it depends on the situation).
The basic decision flow is the following:
You are trying to balance 2 things normally, Nahida's damage and the EM buff that she gives with her burst.
If your team doesn't benefit from the burst, build her for damage (I will explain what that is for various situations in a bit).
If your team does benefit from the burst EM, then:
If you already have someone else on the team near 1000 EM, build her for damage.
Hmm..
nah i'd a.

Does the electro unit in "on field electro quickbloom" include Cyno?
