  • In Ula it is always busy, but no one seems to be going anywhere. There are bicycles, motor-scooters, cars, trucks and tractors in abundance, but none are in a hurry.
    Strolling through the narrow alleys of Ula you will find old Ottoman style houses that have their own variety here in Muğla. They are fascinating!

    i remember some old houses from my childhood , in my hometown houses were two story and U shape which had courtyard in the middle ,it was magical, fragrant blossoms everywhere like jasmine, jasmine sambac flowers, honeysuckle vines also grapes it was like a dream to sleep there, woman prepare meals at courtyard while drinking cold lemonade or tea , laughter chit chatting while childs playing around :)

      I just love to see how the normal working people lived. And I hate shopping, so no fancy shopping streets on this channel. 😀

    To bring more life in the town it is worthy to put on sale all of these buildings

      I think the people there are happy with the quiet winter. In the summer you can walk over the heads there. Super busy.

      Ken has been very ill and I have been home to look after him. If for some reason there are no videos, you can go to the community tap for more info. I will put news there. But, Ken is doing better and the videos will resume soon.

    One question, please. How often do you meet not chained dogs in such abandoned places or in the mountains?
    My husband doesn't allow me to go to such places as they are dangerous, he says.

    • @AtHomeInTurkey
      @AtHomeInTurkey  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Let's say you *can* meet dogs. But, if you don't have a dog with you yourself there is nothing to worry about. There are more street dogs in towns than villages. Villagers 'take care' of those things. Up in the mountains you can find groups of sheep or goats with dogs. Stay away from the animals they guard and you are fine. You will only see them in remote areas like when I was hiking the lycian way. I have never heard of people getting in trouble with dogs for no reason. Street dogs stay clear of you. I only ones been in trouble with dogs and that was because of my own dog.

    Most of those kept in good condition are actually Greek style buildings.

    • @serhatdemir3293
      @serhatdemir3293 ปีที่แล้ว

      Let's say some of those, but not most...

    • @AtHomeInTurkey

      Yes, also the stone-build ones in the villages are mainly greek.
