We enjoy wild horses almost everyday in the summer. Looking forward to spending the rest of my life here! If you do it right this place has so much to offer!!
The reason I moved to the San Luis Valley 7 years ago was because the cost of living is less than any other place I looked at in Colorado. It's cold in the winter but the solar energy is amazing here. If you have an EV this is not the place to be in the winter, batteries die quickly when the cold of the valley gets to them.
Great info, did you buy the land in part because of the book Cheap Land Colorado? I just finished the book a few months ago and definitely has my interest peaked.
It’s terrible, all the nature and wildlife. It needs more parking lots and there isn’t enough smog and light pollution and it’s too quiet it needs more car horns and traffic we should make it look more like Pueblo then it would be so much better

Problem with a lot of the cheap land in the Valley, there is no water! Colorado limits rainwater collection to 110 gallons.
