Great video! I have 2 nerves injured(median and radial)in my left hand. I can barely use my fingers but my right hand works perfectly. I always wanted to become a surgeon but because of the injury. I had to consider going for internal medicine or radiology. Can I work as an eye surgeon with only one good hand?
Thank you @billyrubin8667! I would say that you usually need both hands for doing surgeries. You need to hold instruments in both hands often and also need two hands to suture. However, it could be possible. I mean you could give it a try and see how it works. We have simulator for cataract surgeries and you could practice there to see if it’s possible for you.
