What speedy has done at SNR buns is amazing jobs like that should stay public imo. Hopefully we dont go back to the way restaurants/business where handed out like candy in 3.0

@@MewDeniseBurger Shot, Roosters Rest, UwU cafe & Maldinis were the 4 that had interiors. But beyond that there was places like Chihuahua hot dogs, Mojito Inn, Harmony diner etc. They couldn’t give absolutely everybody restaurants as it’s a lot of mechanics with adding food and whatnot but there restaurants pretty much all over.
@@bananamilkshake04 Exactly right and it killed restaurant rp because everyone was split between multiple restaurants and never saw each other. Sure one or two more is fine but look at the amount of rp that has been happening at snr buns.

Yeah I think Speedy’s mad bc they want to privatize it and she wants to be the owner so she can be in the council ( Yung Dab’s ) promise to Jane. She was also promised to be able to give out business grants or some shit ( Another Yung Dab ) promise
public jobs can turn private if the rp is solid is probably the thought ,they already do interviews and can fire people is it rly public ?

Speedy ran into age old communist problems. He wants to have people have fair say and share of the business but once he did that they are trying to undermine that due to their own greed and ambition. Communism doesn't work because of the selfish human element and greed. The only way he's going to make sure the business runs how he set it out to be in the future is if he has full ownership and then provides shares of the profit dividends to each person working. The control cannot be with anyone other than himself because they will most likely not be invested in it like he is. They will sell it off if the number is right or if the benefits are there and will convince others to do the same.
yeah and if they did that it wouldn't just be viewers bitching and moaning but the players will to cause the whole reasons things are set up the way it is now is how much ooc moaning like babies people did in 3.0
I mean, that's a problem for all forms of government. The free market wouldn't work because of human greed. The reality is the strong exploit the weak. Those are the rules. The sooner people realize the better.

tbf, week 1 of Snr.Buns was hectic af since so many people were trying to strong arm being a manager so owning the business would stop that problem. Also the reason no managers wanna work on NA shift. Now that Snr.Buns management is properly followed, they dont really need to own it.
Speedy was right, he got a text from Crane saying Max was full of shit and completely wrong about businesses
During the meeting (in her head) Ash was also saying privatizing Snr. Buns is a horrible idea but there no reason to start fights when the only goal right now is to get votes. So it seems like Max is just telling people what they want to hear for now. Hard to know what he actually want to do if he even could.
In the meeting there was some crazy shit, like people asking Max (mayor) to establish game mechanics like ingredients (with farming and hunting) for the restaurants. They talking to him as if he is a senator XD
@@Emelenzia they should have shut that down. it's great for IC rp but people misunderstanding the games mechanics leads to OOC rants that make no sense. Which leads to people attacking the devs for no reason.
