@@needsLITHIUM Funny enough, Mick actually decided he wanted to use our products before asking me to be his tech. But, he also did have a hand in some tuning of the amplifier early on.

I have been very happy with my PS MT-15, but if I ever buy another amp Omega is gonna be what I buy. I have the Eminence DV-77 in my two 1x12 PRS MT112 cabs.

Granophyre was my favorite amp vid of yours, this is guaranteed badass
Each time I heard the tone after the mids were turned up I was like damn kyle is gunna like this followed by seeing the stankface every time. Obsidian / Grano might be the best amp on the market right now. If he made similar improvements to the grano I hope to hell Neural DSP includes the 1.5 for their X update. That would go absolutely crazy.

What about the switches? Ive seen people say that they dont really do much to the tone. What do you think? Does the mod make a difference there?
Also it would be cool to see an updated granophyre/obsidian shoot out video and hear your thoughts on the update in that regard

When you first cracked the box and I saw the first bit of it I thought Peavey had lost their minds even further (see: Adrian Vandenberg ridiculously expensive reissue) and done something like reissued a Mark IV or Standard ; I think it's the silver knobs jumping out with the text/lines having that effect on me.

Cool amp. Wish I could hear it a little better. ;) The audio has some weird compression going on, it goes down everytime you palmmute and then slowly comes back.

I was wondering, how this amp stacked up against the Revv G120?
They are both a similar size, so they should stack pretty well. 🙃
@OMEGAAMPWORKS I just mean overall, both modern metal , both high quality parts, but I think Revv probably just has a little more in terms of features 🤔. I'm looking at 1 of the 2, just not sure as to what would be a better one for me. I don't need all the recordings stuff on the Revv, was actually looking at the G50, but the Omega it just a monster as well, I tend to lean to darker midrange tone....

By "Mike" updating it you mean Kyle Rhodes from KSR updating it. KSR build these amps. Mike just slaps on the stain on the wood
Nope, I mean Mike. I personally sent it to him in Detroit for the update. Yes KSR builds these for him, but he designs them and does the updates. Not sure the purpose of your comment in the first place.
Hey, I don't just slap on the stain! I also put on the logo! In all honesty, Kyle (KSR) does build a good portion of the amp for us since we were more focused on hand wiring the Granophyre and he is great at PCB design and populating (Turns out about 75% of companies out there use this method of third party manufacturing). The design was done by myself and our main amp engineer Eric Hockenberry. The voicing update (and all updates), head shell, and everything else is completed by us at OMEGA. Let me know if you have any questions and we would be more than happy to answer.
