    Just a NOTE for anyone considering. I installed (1) 12 volt 125 amp/h for main battery and (3) of the 12 volt 50 amp/hour a year ago along with the power pole charge. 21' BassCat Puma, 36 volt Ultrex, Helix 7 and 12 at helm, Helix 12 and 10 on bow, Hydrowave, and lots of lights. Mega 360, (2) 10' blades on back, and Merc 250 ProXs 2 stroke.
    Unbelievable how it changed my boat (had to relearn how to drive it)! Hole shot is ridiculous now. I replaced (4) lead acid 31 series, probably shed close to 200lbs. It use to struggle getting out the hole on warm days here in Texas. I have fished 12 hour tourneys (without running the main motor much) with lots of wind and I have never seen them go below 45% charge! And, I never turn off any of the 4 graphs, 360, or the hydrowave.
    If you can afford it, they are worth every penny! Game changer for me. A year in and I really can't think of one negative.
    I am not paid by Ionic, Humminbird, Power Pole, or anybody unfortunately, lol, just highly impressed!
    Hope this helps some of you if you are considering pulling the trigger!

      I can't answer for him, but I will say that the salesman for Ionic told me to go with 1 battery (36V) for my setup because I have the Power Pole Charge and he said the Charge doesn't like 3 - 12V lithium setups. I have researched a lot with mixed comments on results. I ended up with the one 36V 50aH trolling motor battery. I am installing this week. We shall see how it performs with the Power Pole Charge.

    Doesn't the Power Pole charger have an app for a battery gauge too? If so, does one app have advantages over the other (Power Pole vs. Ionic)?

    • @NitroZ18Fishing
      @NitroZ18Fishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes sir, both apps have the battery gauges…not sure if I would say one is better than the other, but I do find myself using both…the Ionic app just gives ya slightly different info as well as the battery gauge, so I do love the Ionic app…but the Charge app shows the “flow” of energy which is neat as well, so they’re both good in their own ways…comes down to personal preference I guess!…thanks for watching!

    Is it true lithium pro batterys 36v 40 volt while useing the power pole charge, only gains a few minutes of power on a run? You can’t gain a hour of trolling motor charge while running the boat for 30 mins ex? If your battery is dead,
    Can you run boat to charge trolling Moter batteries or no?
    Nobody can seem to answer a question I have.
    I have a 21ft flats boat and fish in wind and current ex ex. What battery should I get for a 36v 112 minnkotta Terrova? Thank you I’m trying to order something today

      @NitroZ18Fishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Anthony!…I don’t know much about Lithium Pro brand, but I can tell ya I’m blown away at the performance of the Power Pole Charge with these Ionics…basically how it works is there is a slider in the app for the Charge, you can choose if you want it to focus more on charging your cranking battery, your trolling batteries, or share the power…I keep mine in the “shared” position and I absolutely love it…it will charge trolling motor batteries and keep them topped off but then send remaining power to cranking battery…it will do this while running with big motor as well…I can literally fish 2 full days and not have to worry about plugging in…hope that helps!
