The Conca's social animation really is one of the best in the games. Feels like a dog pretending it didn't do anything to mess with it's friend or trying to hide something from its owner.
Reminds me more of a Raven or crow. Just how the other corvid is throwing a tantrum and the corvid causing the problem isn't amused then nips at its tail as it walks away.
There are apparently two big interpretations, because I also see the "I wasn't doing anything" expression, but I can understand the "ignoring or delighting in the instigated reaction" view.

It really reminds me of that video of the two bloodhounds play-fighting where a black and red one keeps kicking the other, and then that one just turns around and yells in the black and red one’s face

I never understood the hype for Conca, but now I respect it
It helps that Frontier's rendition of it is so unique, a fun interpretation that doesn't play it too safe nor goes too wild!
Ever since path of titans I’ve started to like conc more and more
I absolutley love the Concavenator’s design in the game, and also his social animation, so playfull and teasing as one tries to play up the other. One thing tho, at 11:47 you can see that the dead human’s ragdoll actually takes another tourist, the Concavenator scored a colateral!😂
A very good showcase as always, probably this was my favorite alongside the Gigantoraptor.
Shout-out to frontier for not using that statue design from fallen kingdom and making a better/cuter concavenator

The social animation reminds me of my dog when hes done something wrong and he knows it while trying to act innocent as I scold him.
Such an absolutley amazing job by Frontier. I am so excited for this pack. Concavenator is one of my favorite dinosaurs.
My favorite of all dinosaurs finally in the game, I'm so excited and I can't wait to put it in my parks. The skins look amazing and the pattern is gorgeous, the same with the animations, they look great.

The animations really sell how vicious this thing is.
I wasn’t too sure about Concavenator, but I like what Frontier did with it. Always happy to have more smaller-medium theropods in the game.

I don’t know if it’s just me or not but the Concavenator reminds me a lot about monitor lizards mainly in its killing animations, specifically the one where it kills the goat because that’s what monitor lizards do if they catch a rat or something they grab it and violently shake it using their serrated teeth to cut the flesh and blood vessels.
The social animation reminds me of that video of the two bloodhounds where the younger one leaped onto the older one causing the older one to bark roughly at the younger one, forcing the younger one to back off and act all stonefaced. But at the end of the video as the older one moves away the younger one smacks it, which reminds of the Concavenator nipping at the other's tail.
These guys are great! And that social animation is fantastic. Very much has the energy of someone just aiming to cause a bit of trouble, but immediately going "Huh? What was that? I didn't see anything." Just being an obnoxious and mischievous pest. And it really is a beautiful dinosaur. Definitely a fan of these guys.

The Social for the Conc like the Suchomimus.They both have a lot of personality and have behaviors like real animals.
Concavenator was the one I was excited about the most and It's skins and animations are amaizing bestvone of the pack
The constant shaking with the goat reminds me of JPOG with how the large carnivores will do the same to small prey.
Gotta say this is my favorite, whilst the Utahraptor has the most quality, this one has the most charm imo, Utah is gorgeous but fairly safe as far as design goes. I just prefer dinosaurs that step out of usual boundaries instead of just being a supersized pre-existing creature, the silhouette of a creature is very important to me. I'm also just a big fan of quills in general and I like how extra unique this dinosaur is with the snake-like features, perfect for a horror movie. There's a lot of personality not only in the design but even some of the animations as well, about as standout as it gets for this game. I do hope we get a variant with a sail instead, something that nods to the old JP version.
Conc's social reminds me of that video where a bloodhound play nipped a older bloodhound the older one turned around and screamed in the others face while the younger one looked away

I think after seeing these 4 Utah is really lovely, Conca looks gorgeous and love the personality it has with the gremlin vibe and its animations, Tarbo has nice animations and the Frontier skins do make it look better as well as the model been an improvement over the CC one, but it is at the lower end. Giganto while nice with the kick animations and looks nice didnt really have any strong feelings to it tbh
That social animation really helps it stand out. It's reminiscent of cats being cheeky. While I have been spoiled by the LAS species mod, this is still very solid. Glad it finally made the cut.
I love jwe2, but i only play it for a couple days in sandbox for like a day after a new dlc and forget about it, jwe1 i played a ton, and i think its all because of the campaign. We need a better, longer, and more rewarding campaign. 5 staring each island was so fun in jwe1
Greatly like these dinos. They're probably the most finicky in terms of environment, I think they might be bugged with the water especially, but I end up creating neat swamplike enclosures because of it.
Anyone else notice that at 11:49 when the concavenator throws the guy his body hits another guest?

I am soooooo so so so so glad that they didn't give it the thumbs that the fallen kingdom one has. All the mattel toys have it and I die inside a little each time I see them.
In any case this is such a gorgeous love letter to the real animal and the research done on it.
I don’t remember what I was watching (and this was YEARS ago), but I saw a design where one of T. rex’s fingers was more like an opposable thumb. To this day, I still don’t know how I feel about that.

@@hidoradaikaiju4205 They shouldn't have been there, but all things considered it's fine. The Carnotaurus overall is pretty solid and perfectly serviceable
@@GandalfTheTsaagan I’ll be honest…I prefer the Disney’s Dinosaur design. I know it’s not accurate, but those carnos scared me as a kid. But yes, the JW Carno is pretty good.

I don’t get why they don’t just classify concavenator as a small carnivore since it jumps to hunt sometimes and fights pachysephalosaurids
Try turning off the power and see if concavonator and Utah raptor can climb fences

Honestly I really want them to add more Spinosaurids to add more Variety plus Ichthyovenator has a missing spot in It's sail which the hump of Conca can fit in which is Ironic

It referencing To Love Ru which he tries to bite the other's hump, but he starts roaring at the him, but then he tries to bite the tail, but misses, like how Rito tries to grab Haruna's shoulder, but he gets yelled at, and she leaves, even he tries to glomp her. Now that's hilariously good.

@@Smellie_Buddyno it’s considered a small carnivore like austrluvantor. The cryo is a little larger than them and has the ability to hunt hadrosaurs

@@Smellie_Buddy true but in real life Utahraptor, concavonator and cryo were all basically the same size. I’m guessing they wanting to make utahraptor a small carnivore so they did it for concav as well. I would have preferred if it was a smaller medium carnivore like cryo
