    Seychelles: things to know before visiting
    Off the coast of East Africa, in the warm seas of the Indian Ocean, are the lovely islands that make up Seychelles. As much as the archipelago is a tropical, opulent honeymoon hotspot, this island nation shows that it is much more than that, thanks to its stunning scenery, plentiful wildlife, and vibrant culture. You can see a lovely mix of blues, greens, and everything in the area's waterways. You'll frequently find that you want to stay on the beach or the ocean. Although getting to Seychelles is neither simple nor inexpensive, the vacation is unquestionably worthwhile, and you won't look back.
    Welcome to the official Travel Guide Channel; we go through everything about travel, leisure, and travel recommendations. This video will show you everything you need to know about Seychelles and why you should add it to your list of places you would like to visit in 2023.
    Where is it?

    Travel channel confirms Seychelles as one of the world's most stunning tropical island resorts. There are around 115 islands in the group, which spans an area of more than 1 million km2, and they are in the western Indian Ocean northeast of Madagascar....
    In today's video, we look at Seychelles: things to know before visiting. I visited the Seychelles twice. Unfortunately some of the best beaches have been kidnapped by hotels. On my first trip Anse Georgette on Praslin was only accessable on a small and partly steep jungle path above the cliffs. My at that time girlfriend and I therefore for some time had the whole beach for us alone, with nobody else making it there. Later the day only one other motivated couple arrived. Today there is a golf course right behind and people arrive on their golf buggies.
    From Anse Georgette we then hiked along the shore, wild and without path, through jungle and over rocks in sweltering heat to Anse Lazio - a quite tough undertaking!
    Petite Anse on Mahe is another example of destroyed by tourism. I have seen it when it was tranquil with a small house and nothing else. Today there is a Four Seasons Hotel Resort. I am afraid many more places and beaches have met the same fate.

    • @OfficialTravelGuide
      @OfficialTravelGuide  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your comment. The pronunciation of "Seychelles" can vary depending on different accents and dialects. The generally accepted pronunciation is "say-shells" (/seɪˈʃɛlz/). However, I understand that there might be variations in how people pronounce it. The important thing is to appreciate the beauty and wonders of the Seychelles islands, regardless of the pronunciation.

      Thank you for the valuable information and for commenting on our content. We really appreciate the input and it's great to know that our viewers are knowledgeable about Seychelles. We will definitely keep this in mind when creating future content. Thanks for being a part of our community!
      But.. Seychelles can be a costly destination for travelers. A budget-friendly trip would likely involve staying in more affordable accommodations such as guesthouses or hostels, and sticking to more basic activities and meals. This type of trip could cost around $100-150 per day per person.
      On the other hand, a luxury trip to Seychelles would involve staying in higher-end resorts or villas, participating in more exclusive activities and dining at upscale restaurants. This type of trip could cost anywhere from $300-1000 per day per person, or even more.
      It's worth noting that these are approximate figures and prices can vary depending on the time of year, location, and type of accommodation and activities chosen. We'll keep sharing more travel experiences with you. Feel free to share our content with your friends, we would love to have them join our community.

    Excuse me, when's the best time to go? A super important info 😘

    • @OfficialTravelGuide
      @OfficialTravelGuide  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! Choosing the best time to visit the Seychelles is indeed important for a memorable trip. The Seychelles has a tropical climate, so the weather is generally warm and humid throughout the year. However, there are a few factors to consider:
      Dry Season (May to September): This is typically considered the best time to visit the Seychelles. The weather is cooler, with less humidity and a lower chance of rainfall. It's ideal for outdoor activities and exploring the stunning beaches and nature.
      Shoulder Seasons (April and October): These months offer a transition between the wet and dry seasons. The weather can still be pleasant, and you might find fewer crowds compared to the peak tourist months.
      Rainy Season (November to March): While this period experiences more rainfall, it's also the warmest time in the Seychelles. Rain showers are usually short but intense. If you don't mind occasional rain and higher humidity, you can still enjoy the beauty of the islands.
      Considering your preferences for weather and activities, the dry season (May to September) might be the best time to plan your trip. Remember to check specific weather forecasts closer to your travel dates for the most accurate information. Enjoy your time in the Seychelles! 😊

    Is july a good month for visit ?? ( I don't like wind)))

    • @OfficialTravelGuide
      @OfficialTravelGuide  หลายเดือนก่อน

      July is generally a good time to visit the Seychelles, as it falls within the drier season, with lower chances of rainfall compared to other months. However, it's essential to note that weather patterns can vary, and there may still be occasional rain showers. As for wind, the Seychelles experiences trade winds, which are typically stronger from May to September. July may still have some wind, but it's usually not as strong as during the peak windy season. Overall, July offers pleasant temperatures, calm seas, and beautiful sunny days, making it a popular time to visit the Seychelles. If you prefer less wind, July could be a suitable month for your trip.

    I want visit but it's expensive 😢

    • @OfficialTravelGuide
      @OfficialTravelGuide  ปีที่แล้ว

      I understand your concern about the cost of visiting Seychelles, as it's known for being a luxury destination. However, there are ways to experience this beautiful country without breaking the bank. One way to save money is to visit during the low season, which is from May to September. During this time, accommodation prices are generally lower, and there are fewer tourists, meaning that you'll have more space to explore and enjoy the beaches. Another way to save money is to book your accommodation well in advance, as this will give you access to better deals and discounts. You can also consider staying in budget accommodations, such as hostels or guesthouses, which are often cheaper than hotels. When it comes to food, eating at local restaurants and street vendors is a great way to save money while experiencing the local cuisine. You can also buy food at local markets and cook your meals in self-catering accommodation, which will save you even more money. There are plenty of free or low-cost activities in Seychelles, such as hiking, snorkeling, and exploring the national parks. Many of the beaches in Seychelles are public and free, so you can bring your own gear and enjoy the sun, sand, and sea without spending a lot of money. Lastly, consider using public transportation instead of taxis, as this is often much cheaper. You can also explore the islands by renting a bike, which is a great way to see the sights and get some exercise at the same time. In conclusion, Seychelles can be an expensive destination, but with some research and planning, it's definitely possible to have a budget-friendly trip to this beautiful country. So, don't let the high cost discourage you from visiting Seychelles, and start planning your affordable trip today!

    If I had the financial means, I would leave everything here in London behind and live in a place like this. I'm tired of all this here. Everything so artificial.

      It's understandable to yearn for a change, especially to a place as naturally beautiful as Maui. It offers a stark contrast to the urban environment of London. Hopefully, you'll find an opportunity to explore such beautiful destinations or even make a significant lifestyle change in the future. Remember, it's never too late for a new beginning.
