Been waiting all year for #NQN ❤ I am so grateful for all I’ve learned from Doug, Christ Kirk, and all the authors CP hosts (yes, even some of Al Mohler’s old stuff was edifying 😂). Now a ‘thinking man’ can learn just as much from a horrible leader or thought-smith as a great one… that said, I have learned from Doug (and yes some other men too) how to rightly think. That’s the real deep down bottom gift I’ve received from Doug. You put that together with his example of how to to be the really fizzy type of ginger ale over and apart from the lukewarm water and vegimite that big eva and those that wish to take control of the bride of Christ away for being guided by his scriptures, and you have the second big reason for gratefulness I hold for Doug and CP. Thirdly, Doug is the be that somehow clicked the dials in my head that finally made great men’s writing accessible (mentally/materially) in ways that impact not just my worldview, but also my daily walk (Luther, Calvin, Lewis, Chesterton, Spurgeon, Vos, Boettner, Oliphint, and others). So before I get too deep into NQN, I wanted to go ahead and tell you guys at CP what I’m thankful for too. 🪑 🔥 No King but Christ!
