william lui The legendary bow seems optional though. There should be a fairly budget version that you can make that can perform decently. Lesser Emerald Spell stone and To my Side seem to be the core components anyway. F2P must believe in a way.

This is the first standard deck of the expansion I put together, and I am undefeated so far in about 10-ish games. I went from rank 14 to rank 10. Couple close games, and 3-4 times I smashed face. Hard to say if it will stay competitive once the meta calms down, but it's damn fun atm lol
The timing of the music at the end was perfect. I'm so glad this deck actually fucking works because it really did look like a ton of fun during the reveal stream.

I'm glad to seee that this is the first deck that Kibler decided to messs around with.
Especiallly since I got alll the Hunter legendaries in this expansion (*pained sighs of a Rogue main can be heard*).
Anyways, can't wait to put a deck together like this!
The fact that Kibler decided to play this deck first made me so happy cause I'm super excited to use that new hunter legendary if i pull it. The deck seems so unique and fun to play!!!
Coincidentally, I have 100% win rate with this deck over 10 games on ladder as well. The best part? It's hella fun to play!
I tried to make a kathrena winterwisp deck, and actually won a decent amount of times. got crushed by this deck every single time though.

As we all know, Day 1 of a new expac is where all the meta-decks are. I have hopes for Hunt Alone Hunter but once the more refined decks come along idk how it'll do when people aren't memeing.
Well it crushes either priest deck, so that's at least in it's favor.
How? A priest playing psychic scream after you spellstone or flanking not only clears your board but also blocks your minion-less cards like Rhok'delar and To My Side...
Priest has way too much aoe for this deck to crush priest. Especially with the new duskbreaker card.

went straight from rank 15 to rank 5 today and literally KO 4 spell hunter deck like this with razakus priest, (100% winrate against them sofar), so no, it does not crush priest.
Kibler somewhat got lucky with his high rolled wandering monster but most of the time, you ll only get 'get down' result
I psychic screamed a deck like this today. They only got 1 creature off Too My Side because they forgot that they then had creatures in their deck. Felt good.

I honestly think that Rhok'delar should fill your hand with arcane shots instead of just random hunter spells
Honestly that problem makes it nearly an autowin if your opponent can't finish the game.
Because what could be more fun than filling a hunters hand with up to 20 face damage
Not like the hunter can aggro you down _without minions_.
By that same logic, Mage can deal 30 Damage to you before turn 6 _from hand_ and that's not OP.
If you built your Hunter deck around 1 card, with card draw as weak as Hunter's, well... I got some bad news.
Felony Hunter has tracking which is the best search mechanic in the game. Also you wouldn't need to build a deck around it at all. It would just be an easy win con.
It'd be cool if spell hunter will remain a good deck once the expansion has been out for a little while, but past expansions have made me wary. Almost every expansion starts with a _strong_ hunter deck, but pretty much none of them have survived past the initial 2 weeks of the expansion going live.
Call to arms crushes this deck in my personal experience. Very high win rate against this deck. Spending 4 mana for 3 draws + 3 minions if you build right is usually too much for a hunter to recover from.
Actually the Secret Hunter when Karazhan came out was a beast with call of the wild being 8 cost of mana, then the nerf came out and pretty much the deck died. but im sure it last for more that 2 weeks
This is the meta cycle.
Expansion releases > Aggro is good (kills all the clunky new decks) > then Midrange is good (Kills all the aggro decks with bigger creatures and more powerful spells) > then later Control is good (the meta is "known" and control can tailor their decks to deal with all the key threats).
Combo can be good early or middle of the cycle but often struggles in very aggro or very controlling metas.
I'm not a heathstone pro or anything, but I hate playing games and only finding Priest, Hunter and Mage every expansion. I see sometimes the other classes, but no where near as much. I wish this game had more diversity and not Spell Hunter or Shadow Priests everywhere.

I actually really like the card. Its slowish but can generate insane value. RNG though so it can also lose you games. Also late game the value can be iffy.
nightninja13 Most 3 drops are actually really good though, either through stats or extra abilities, getting a 1/4 taunt with it is a low rol for example, and that's still prob not gonna lose you the game.
People underestimated the 3 mana slot for monsters. So many other mana slots have many completely terribly stated cards you could potentially summon. At 5, 6, and 7 mana now you can summon a 1/1. It turns out the 3 mana creatures are actually pretty decent but it's easy to see why it's looked over because a random monster at a lot of other mana slots is usually understatted.

I thought this deck would be a gimmick like Yogg and load but, upon playing it, I can say that it's actually an incredibly good deck. Jade spell stone is absolutely nuts at max and very easy to put there and By My Side, once thought to be a terrible joke, is actually good enough to be opening hand keepable. The weapon is pretty good really late in the game too.
To My Side! was mostly being bitched at for the condition (which has no reason to be there), not because 6 mana for two animal companions is "bad".....
It still is really strange why the card has such a major condition required to be met to unlock just a "fair" effect. Usually these kind of build around cards have a super broken effect attached to them. 2 animal companions for 6 is just ok. Best thing about the card honestly is it fits the curve well.
Harry Garris to its defense forcing this kind of spell hunter makes for a very fun play style, and it counters a lot of minion based steal spells and secrets. It's really interesting to see it in action. I'm impressed that it is making it this far up the ladder.

Secretkeeper is a real tech choice during this meta. So many people trying out No minion hunter, Secret mage and Rouge now with secrets too
In playing a version of this earlier, I also discovered this deck had a 100% win rate against aggro druid... I really enjoy playing this deck, and I can see the potential for refining this deck to be really powerful. I knew this deck would be fun to play, and its more powerful than I thought it would be. 9 games played, 9 wins so far. Lets see how it does when people realize how good this deck is, and start building counter decks to it.
spellhunter is so fun. Rhok'delar might be my favorite card in hearthstone so far.

I have two other brothers who plays hearthstone and on the day the expansiin came on one of them got Rhok'delar and made the exact deck. Beating all of our decks and right then and there, I knew this was op.

I've been having succes with a very similar no-minion hunter deck. Got me from rank 12 to rank 8. Really surprising. But time will tell if it's still good when the meta settles.

The best time for Hearthstone is for first couple weeks after an expansion. You can actually try and build fun decks and see success because the internet hasn't solved the easy ones quite yet.

I was pretty bummed when I got the hunter legendary weapon, but seeing this slightly changes my mind, except that deck looks incredibly expensive.
After getting this weapon on log in I find that this is a super fun wild deck.

This will always be Forever Alone Hunter to me.
Have nothing against the archetype but everyone's gotta remember that this deck was (I assume) a Day 1 deck, so it's very likely (though not hoping for it) that this deck will eventually either die out in popularity or get overthrown by more refined meta decks.

Really good Deck.... very unexpected. Played with the same secret mage about 5 times against no minion hunter and won 3 times.
Also as mentioned previously this is day 1 once the stronger decks start getting solidified and the new meta takes shape it won't be that different ..priest will still be king in various forms , rouge , mage and druid will be in the mix and then we will see how spell hunter fairs. It's may be true 2 in the hands of a pro but it needs a lot of help to be true 1 . With no life gain or armor , and the lack of a solid board clear I don't see how it can hold up. That's not to say I'm not a fan , hunter is my favorite class ( mostly because it's a huge underdog) but like most people I play every class. Hunter just holds a special place in my heart, I'm keeping fingers crossed that this becomes a thing and blizzard puts some work into it in the coming expansions.

Tried this deck without By My Side. It's alot tougher to win with.
And my traps kept spawning shitty 3 drops, like a glorious 1/1 blubber baron.

Called a deck like this the moment I saw "to my side"... I don't know how it will be when the meta stabalizes, but I suspect it's going to be a t2-t3 deck, simply with how different it is to "normal" hunter.

I got the warlock weapon. And the warlock minions as my legend from the first 10 packs. Guess I'm playing warlock for a change.
