El Bandito Just embrace RNG. He was playing a lot of MTG and he lost some crucial games in tournaments by topdecks. After this I think he is just used to RNG in card games.
Hey Brian, are you able to test if there is a special interaction with Arthas and Uther of the Ebon Blade? Such as him turning into the Lich King, or does it just turn him into Uther?
Gábor .Gáspár If you meet a lot of aggro put 1 saronite chain gang or stampeding kodo if you have problems with doomsayers If you face control mostly and need hard removal you can try Big Game Hunter but i think it isn't that great anymore
I know I'm kinda late here but whats the best pali handbuff currently? And is it viable to climb with still? TY to anyone who answers cos I've been busting my ass trying to make it work all day haha.
Normally I'd say Spellbreaker as a similar way to deal with big taunts, but the list already has 2x Spellbreaker. I don't think there's another good substitute for BK's battlecry. So yeah, just replace him with a solid minion; Chain Gang seems fine.
Someone correct me...but attacking a miniuon with Divine Shield doesn't trigger Lifesteal right? So the guy should have jsut traded the murlocs into the gadgetzan legend....
Divine shield is relevant. If you notice, when you pop a Divine Shield it says "-0" meaning you dealt 0 damage and steal 0 life. If you trigger Ice Block, it functions the same way.
lherrebout Yes but lifesteal doesn't depend on the damage dealt to the minion, it's the damage dealt from the minion. So if a 3/3 attacks into a 3/3 with divine shield for example and it kills the 3/3 attacking, the 3 life from the dead minion is transferred to the hero.
I dont have Tarim ot Black Knight... Would you think its a good idea to replace those with windfuries? Like the storm watcher 4-8 elementals or grook fu masters... That way you get windfury for corpsetakers. Not that you ever get to actually use it, but in a best case scenario you do, and thats 6 damage & healing... Tarim is probably the most replaceable legendary here right? I often get him from stonehills anyway... Also I dont even have corpsetakers or rallying blades lol. Corpsetakers at least seem like a 100% must have, but what about Rallying blade, is it a 100% must or can you replace it with truesilver? Personally I see truesilver as a bit too slow weapon, plus the battlecry of rallying has some nice synergy with this deck... That turn 3 weapon is so much better vs aggro.
I know this may sound like a joke when the deck has Prince in the name, but is there a replacement for the Prince? One of the few cards I don't have yet in the new set.
I am playing the regular buff paladin with 2 grimestreets and lots of draw like acolyte and loot hoarder for early game it's doing quite well because I can but the cards in my hand by alot at once where keleseth only buffs once after u play him. Gonna try both versions. The outfitter version I run 2 saronotites and I've gotten them to be 2 7/8s taunts already
I think if u like buying alot run grimestreets buts if u want a quick buff to all then Prince but he limits your deck by cutting all 2 drops so u forfeit the early game most of the time
SteelForce98 When you're trying to netdeck or build from a streamer deck you have to make sure your replacements fit two criteria 1. Does it fit into the curve 2. Does it fulfill the same role The reason Kibler has Wicker in the deck is that hand buff paladin deck has some pretty weak options on the early turns and, of those options,, taunts are best. You want to be building your board, equipping weapons, and retaining health while you buff your hand, and taunts help you do that. Wickerflame is debatebly the best low cost taunt in the game with divine shield and lifesteal, that title might be taken by Righteous Protector after the expansion but that depends on how highly you value lifesteal. I would say wickerflame is better as properly played it can nullify the early turns of pirate and druid warrior by clearing shit 1 and 2 health minions and healing any chip damage they may have built, it requires two trades which might mean a charge of your enemy's fiery war axe. So what fulfills the 2 criteria of a 3 mana minion which helps retain health and preserves a board against low cost aggro minions and weapons? There are a few options. Stonehill defender and tar creeper are in my deck. Stonehill can generate huge value with a Tirion or Tarim from discover, it's also a good body for dealing with 1 health pirate crap and soaking damage with 4 health. Tar creeper is great value even if you aren't using the elemental package. Without a spell it's very difficult for the opponent to value trade a 3-5 body on turn 3. Big bodies like ultrasaur don't really have a place in a hand buff deck, mostly because you will win 90% of the time in mid game. Early game aggro decks will concede if they haven't beaten you by turn 6 or 7, late game exodia decks and jade druid will outvalue you no matter what by turn 10, so why put a huge mana minion in the deck? You can use that slot for a card that contributes to your mid game victory, a 3 mana taunt gets you there. A 10 mana minion is a dead card in your hand for every single one of your games, and in hand buff when you want to get your smugglers run on as many minions as possible having spaces taken up by dead cards can be fatal.
hey guys, I am fairly new to hearthstone playing since 2 months... i have farmed up some dust. I am missing some basic but essential class cards for each class like ice block for mage etc...I am waiting for the new meta to settle down ...but its kinda difficult to play certain decks without em...so should i just ignore the issue and craft just one strong meta deck or craft all the basic cards for the classes first (Wont be able to do both as i am a budget player) ?
JAXON hmm what I would do is craft a meta deck and just start racking up in ranked to obtain more dust. if you need basic cards like ice block then I would suggest crafting it if you really need it.
id play this but I dont have prince, or sunkeeper, or wicker flame, or lich king. one card makes a difference 4 missing makes it just plain noncompetitive
Richard Lane !ah yo don't need those for budget. But if you want craft TARIM is highpriority. Other than that, stonehill defender will give you LEGENDARY taunt minion occasionally. For prince can be placed grimestreet outfitter
Fun variant to play, once you get over the frightening first 4-5 turns :D just beat a jade druid at 12/12 jades + Hero played ;) His were big, mine biggest lol... mighty deck!!! I snug in 2 blackguards instead of the taunt elementals, worked nicely....
Moto Kuchoma IMHO paladin is bad without Tarim. Even agro use this card and I tried a bunch of decks without him (and Tirion - I don't have both) and it was a struggle. Maybe extreme aggressive paladin can be viable without them, but any midrange deck or slower need at least those 2 legendaries + burnbristle.
SilentderLaute IMO Doppel is straight up weak in handbuff Paladin. Saronite is quite powerful against decks that care about your board, but can be too slow in some matchups. One card that I think is sweet is Acolyte of Pain, but finding the space for more than one is almost impossible.
agreed on the dopple, i think you need to hit it atleast twice with buffs for it to be worth it which is unreliable. The advantage of kiblers style of handbuff is that most of the cards are strong on their own but are "buff lovers" due to keywords. As opposed to cards like dopple or dispatch kodos which have good battlecrys that require them to get handbuffs to really be worth running.
Vinicius G. I've been playing hand buff paladin with the elemental package, it's much cheaper and I got to rank 8 with it this season. I try to open with firefly, smugglers run onto the flame elemental on turn 2 usually gives you the board, value trade with smaller minions and weapons while you buff your hand and start the elemental chain. If you include stonehill defender a lot of the time you can pick up Tarim, Tirion and hand buff them.
BOB DOLE that's the game tho. You put in all that thought to maximise your chances but you can never GUARANTEE a good outcome. If you want less luck and more skill involved in your games, try a fighting game. Hearth is about probability, knowledge and keeping a cool head when it doesn't go your way.
Ok, that's two days in a row where Kibler suddenly screaming actually physically injured me. I understand you're excited, but please think of the headphone users and dampen any sounds louder than a gun shot while editing.
what headphones are you using? i have the playstation gold headset which has pretty damn good quality audio and all my volume settings are max and his yell was nowhere near loud enough to be painful.
I had earbuds in and jumped out of my seat and had to tear them out after his outburst. It was at least twice as loud as any other sound in the video. My volume was only turned up enough to hear the quiet music and game sounds and his normal voice clearly.
huh... guess it might come down to a difference in system maybe. either that or my hearing is far less sensitive, either way i do know how much something like that sucks so hope it didn't ruin the video on a whole for ya.
I live alone in a very quiet apartment in a quiet town, so I'd say my ears are probably more sensitive than average to unexpected noises. I've watched every video Kibler's made in at least the past year, but this might be a dealbreaker. It's causing me to be anxious about rather than look forward to his future videos, which makes me sad. It startled and hurt me about as much as if a thumbtack sized spike shot out of my keyboard randomly while typing. Not enough to seriously wound me, but I'd avoid that keyboard.
Kibler's GOLDEN Bonemare gets him to Legend.
Thomas Synths Can I get that Bonemare *B O N E L E S S?*
lherrebout shit, that isn't dead yet?
That first guy got insanely lucky, jesus
Losing Kibler was really unexpected.
7:55 That undertaker cry "oooh, goody" without the goody haha. Guess that explains the undertaker subscription sound :) Great deck Kibler!
Super fun deck Kib!! Having a soft spot for paladin, I'll definitely give it a try! Cheers!!
Hahaha good timing with the 5th :D Nicely edited!
The music on that win was perfect timing.
Haha cheeky kibler with the 5th sonata into the the 5th symphony
the music just makes this so much more intense I cant even...
A kibbler video with him losing? Are we in the twilight zone?
Does anyone know where Brian goes to get his classical music? Is it on a playlist?
Great video, Im running the budget version of this build now. Awesome
the first one might be the best HS game I've seen
Kibler, how do you keep your calm in such games where the opponent gets incredibly lucky?
El Bandito Just embrace RNG. He was playing a lot of MTG and he lost some crucial games in tournaments by topdecks. After this I think he is just used to RNG in card games.
El Bandito he never rages bro like seriously never
El Bandito its called being a fucking adult and growing up. No need to get mad at kid games.
Hah, yet I have seen plenty of grown ups with full time jobs and families get mad at "kid" video games.
Keep up the amazing work! You always lighten up my day :D
Hey Brian, are you able to test if there is a special interaction with Arthas and Uther of the Ebon Blade? Such as him turning into the Lich King, or does it just turn him into Uther?
7:42 a fucking alien gets born.
That Priest's deck looks fun to play.
I was like don't worry Kibler only uploads wins
Mootthemad Ikr it's like a sort of spoiler kind of ruins the omg what will happen aspect, still love them so much though (his videos).
yo nigga I've done it! - Hydrologist
Lord Dracoliche TriHard
Finally, someone else who hears it.
KamikazeRaptor it's been a thing since the card came out
I dont have black knight and I was thinking about putting in a blood knight instead, for all the divine shields, is that any good?
Gábor .Gáspár a strong control card would be better. something like rag the lightlord
Gábor .Gáspár If you meet a lot of aggro put 1 saronite chain gang or stampeding kodo if you have problems with doomsayers
If you face control mostly and need hard removal you can try Big Game Hunter but i think it isn't that great anymore
Any replacement options for Lich King and Prince Keleseth?
Fyrapan90 double grimestreet outfitter will do
3 times, "There's no reason to trade here" 3 times PUNISH
I know I'm kinda late here but whats the best pali handbuff currently? And is it viable to climb with still? TY to anyone who answers cos I've been busting my ass trying to make it work all day haha.
"I suggest people give this deck a shot."
What am I; made of dust?
Does anyone know a good substitution for black knight other than bgh? Chain gang maybe? As that was in before?
dopplegangster?
Penkov Gorgi genuinely only just realised this wasn't a shaman card haha
Normally I'd say Spellbreaker as a similar way to deal with big taunts, but the list already has 2x Spellbreaker. I don't think there's another good substitute for BK's battlecry. So yeah, just replace him with a solid minion; Chain Gang seems fine.
David Guild that's what I was thinking :/
More of this deck please:)
Man, I wish I had Burnbristle. And the Black Knight. And Prince 2.
And practically every legendary card
Someone correct me...but attacking a miniuon with Divine Shield doesn't trigger Lifesteal right? So the guy should have jsut traded the murlocs into the gadgetzan legend....
Lifesteal works with the damage thats dealt from the minion so divine shield is irrelevant
Ah okay, thank you all. I thought destorying a Divine Shield was meaning you deal no damage. Like also in the sense of damage dealt from the minion.
TravistheGREAT03 that makes no sense. They have a shield; their shield doesn't stop their own damage lol
I dont have Tarim ot Black Knight... Would you think its a good idea to replace those with windfuries? Like the storm watcher 4-8 elementals or grook fu masters... I know this may sound like a joke when the deck has Prince in the name, but is there a replacement for the Prince? One of the few cards I don't have yet in the new set.
Just playing normal Handbuff Paladin is your best bet. This deck is mostly just for memes and experimentation, I think.
just go classic handbuff with 2 grimestreet outfitters, nowhere near as powerful/consistent though...
Eggolas The two mana 1/1 pally card that gives all minions in your hand +1/+1 might work. Obviously not as good as prince though.
I am playing the regular buff paladin with 2 grimestreets and lots of draw like acolyte and loot hoarder for early game it's doing quite well because I can but the cards in my hand by alot at once where keleseth only buffs once after u play him. AndrewN0920 420
AndrewN0920 wtf why you writed to much ....
Because saying what may be good can sometimes be less helpful than explaining *why* it is good.
SteelForce98 sounds good
wise man say..." 'Almost' only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades."
Is this deck playable if I don't have Prince Keleseth?
Trrroll u can try putting in grimestreet outfitter
how did u survive jade druids??
I love this deck so much. Funniest to me. :)
Can I get the deckcode for this deck :>
is this deck still okay?
Free to play deck! Gonna try
That first paladin guy triggered me a lot with his insane hand and top-deck wtf
Muhammad Nabil tarim topdeck it is
That was the most feelsbad DEATHWING I've ever seen
He had two answers not counting taunts, so I don't think it was that bad at all.
meta was at its peak back then
that lucky boy at first vid omg
you see boys kibler was playing his 100 % the whole game. what happend? well he got fucked hard by rng at the end
Ducking Keleseth can't go to the hand for 2 or 3 turn. He like to come when your enemy have full table and dominating you . 10/10 , nice card
You should play more card draw/generation in this deck
There are no good card draw/generation tools for midrange paladin. Maybe curator, but this is not a murloc deck.
jacob norris You should run acolyte and igneous elemental in handbuff paladin
is this deck any good without the legendaries?
You need Tarim and Tirion for just about any Paladin deck. Outside of those 2, yes.
Pierpaolo Mercurio mostly tarim. You can get other legendaries from stonehill defender. Prince can be replaced with outfitter
hey guys, I am fairly new to hearthstone playing since 2 months... i
have farmed up some dust. I am missing some basic but essential class

JAXON Go to the hearthstone forums and ask there, people over there are a lot more informative and knowledgeable.
Twenty Faces hey ty for the tip... Will surely do that
Why no Saronite Chain Gang?
No Arthas?... Blah, may as well conceed turn 1. xD ... Nahh, just being a dork. Love your vids! Especially the Music
Hydrologist: you nigga i got it!
I regret so much disenchanting my golden keleseth now xD
Alfoni what the fuck. Keleseth is the most popular and winning prince staple in rogue paladin and zoolock
Hey Brian what's good my dude
What's good? This deck is.
id play this but I dont have prince, or sunkeeper, or wicker flame, or lich king. one card makes a difference 4 missing makes it just plain noncompetitive
Richard Lane Well, even one card (Tarim) is a huge hit for paladin. Sadly I have zero legendaries for paladin, so this class is not existing for me.
Richard Lane !ah yo don't need those for budget. But if you want craft TARIM is highpriority. Other than that, stonehill defender will give you LEGENDARY taunt minion occasionally. For prince can be placed grimestreet outfitter
why not make a corpsetaker battlecry minion with instead of taunt you put stealth
Run 1 getaway kodo secret so you can buff your deck twice!
Fun variant to play, once you get over the frightening first 4-5 turns :D just beat a jade druid at 12/12 jades + Hero played ;) His were big, mine biggest lol... mighty deck!!! I snug in 2 blackguards instead of the taunt elementals, worked nicely....
I feel like Paladin and Druid just have such an overall high power curve that even their jank decks are on par with most other classes :/
First game could have been played better. But all in all you can't knock kibler.
The first fucking annoying smorc paladin really triggers me a lot.
Aggro is necessary for a healthy meta, unfortunately.
It's all about balance! Aggro, Midrange, and Control are like a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors.
Fun fact: Brian Kibler was born in Idaho
-Cee Dee, your Kibler video commentator
What a weird "Handbuff" Paladin with Zero Multi Body Minions like Saronite or DoppelGangster
SilentderLaute Yea Saronite should be in there as well as acolyte and igneous elemental
Watario Vids Hitting it once is good I think, but yeah you definitely want to get it to 5/5 since that puts it out of range of a ton of stuff.
finding the space for more than 1 acolyte = not playing weapons or spikeridged steed because they suck in handbuff paladin
Replace of Black Knight, tirion, wickle, Tarim and all epics?
"Luke,use the Arthas' skin".
I feel sad because kibler puts so much thought behind his plays and thinks 3 turns ahead but gets screwed over by no skill decks 24/7
BOB DOLE that's the game tho. You put in all that thought to maximise your chances but you can never GUARANTEE a good outcome. If you want less luck and more skill involved in your games, try a fighting game. Hearth is about probability, knowledge and keeping a cool head when it doesn't go your way.
I just want kibler to be a tv personality! why cant this happen?!
Handbuff... PRInce.... AND CORPSETAKER AND NOT A SINGLE YOUNG DRAGONHAWK?! Whyyyyy
Ricardo Davinci would never had a chance to attack (probably)
Really sad you had to bully priest for your last game until legend :( I was really hoping you'd win against that filthy aggressive paladin.
WTf is this shit game? I use two days beating him and i get a fucking pack with 4 basic cards and a crappy rare!??
Ok, that's two days in a row where Kibler suddenly screaming actually physically injured me. I understand you're excited, but please think of the headphone users and dampen any sounds louder than a gun shot while editing.
Jesse Frederick I'm a headphone user and it hasn't bothered me so idk maybe it's just your volume being too loud
what headphones are you using? i have the playstation gold headset which has pretty damn good quality audio and all my volume settings are max and his yell was nowhere near loud enough to be painful.
Not enough to seriously wound me, but I'd avoid that keyboard.
wow, im early
Double spellbreaker... this deck just makes no sense at all
Morpheus One he used it to get to legend
The Dizzy Blueberry Cos he's a good player and he plays a lot... but the the deck is straight trash... that's not how u play handbuff paladin
Sup
1st
Dislike sorry but Arthas is Arhtas.
he didn´t have him in this game yet (some older record)
