Thanks for uploading this. Image/audio quality is pretty nice. Not gonna lie, I put old Cub games on youtube when I’m tired and want to fall asleep. Harry and Steve are a comforting sound to this 43 year old Cub fan.
What a game. Dawson put on a show, the pitchers, most notably Hume and Lee Smith, battled their command, and that nifty DP turned in the 9th by Ryno & Noce saved Lee's bacon.
The Blue impala parked on the corner of Kenmore and Waveland is my next-door neighbor's car on Kenmore, i call him Fat bob, he sells cub souvenirs on Waveland Ave right next to the players parking lot in a wooden pushcart, I doubt he is still their 30 years later, i used to tune that exact car up for him
Growing up with the Phillies, Juan Samuel's yearly high strikout numbers drove me nuts! He's a lead-off hitter, he needs to try to get on base, not to hit home runs.
He’d be perfect in today’s game. Phillies have Schwarber leading off, he’s leading the NL in home runs AND strikeouts. No way he should be leading off either.

Love watching these classic games!!
I was at this game. First Cubs game at Wrigley. I was 8 years old, and I got to see Hawk hit three jacks.

There was no good reason for The Phils to sign Lance Parrish. Bo Diaz and Ozzie Virgil were in their prime.
They had Dutch as well but tried to make him a 1B
